In this week’s episode of Handle Your Business, I take a look at Richard Sherman’s comments on the negotiations on the new Collective Bargaining Agreement between the NFL and the NFL Players Association. Sherman reacted to this report about the state of the talks.
I also take a look at Antonio Brown’s apology and what sort of discipline NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will hand out. There are also reports about when Goodell will meet with Cleveland Browns’ defensive end Myles Garrett to talk with him before ruling on any further discipline. Plus, the Carolina Panthers fill out their coaching staff.
Sherman also took aim the NFL over expanding the season to 17 games and questioned the league’s commitment to player safety. Will the season be extended or will the NFLPA agree to a 17-game season after significant concessions? Comment below or tweet me @temptherat on Twitter.
