‘This Is Bad’ – Hall of Famer Expresses Deep Concern for Ravens Kicker Amid Struggles

    Published on

Justin Tucker's struggles are shaking Ravens fans. With a career-low field goal rate, is Father Time catching up with the NFL's GOAT kicker?

Justin Tucker kicked off the season as a fan-favorite pick for the NFL’s kicking GOAT. Sure, he lost his title as the most accurate kicker ever last year, but his mix of rocket legs and laser precision still made him Hall of Fame stuff. Twelve years with the Baltimore Ravens? A career full of clutch kicks and legendary moments.

But now? The kicks aren’t quite as smooth, and even the legends are starting to sweat. Is Tucker still the kicker we all know and love, or has Father Time finally caught up with the NFL’s best foot?

Shannon Sharpe Sounds the Alarm: Ravens’ Justin Tucker’s Struggles Spark Concern

Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe isn’t mincing words here — he’s flat-out worried about Tucker. After watching the Ravens kicker miss three kicks against the Philadelphia Eagles, Sharpe hit up X with, “Y’all remember when Harbs said he wasn’t worried about Tucker’s yips? He’s ABSOLUTELY worried about him and rightfully so. This is bad.”

And Sharpe’s right — this is real bad, like “where’s the fire extinguisher?” level bad.

Tucker was the epitome of NFL kicker perfection, and he’s suddenly missing kicks like they’re going out of style. What gives? This year has been a nightmare. And it all came crashing down in Philly. The first quarter saw a missed extra point, but hey — he made a couple of field goals. No harm, no foul, right? But then came the third quarte. Two golden chances to get the Ravens back on track, and both kicks whiffed.

One miss went wide right, the other wide left. Entering the fourth quarter, the Ravens were trailing 14-12. If Tucker had hit even one of those field goals, they would’ve been up 15-14. Folks, 15-14! Instead, Ravens fans were left staring at the scoreboard like, “Did we just watch the GOAT forget how to kick?” Oof.

John Harbaugh can try to play it cool, but as Sharpe pointed out, he’s absolutely worried. And honestly? So is everyone else. This is Tucker’s toughest season by a mile, and the Ravens’ playoff hopes are feeling more like a distant dream. With every missed kick, the pressure’s building — and Tucker better find his groove fast or that Hall of Fame career might hit a rough patch.
