Josh Allen shocked the world last November as he proposed to his girlfriend Hailee Steinfeld. However, she has revealed that the Buffalo Bills quarterback had that effect not only on the entire world but on her as well.
Hailee Steinfeld Reveals Josh Allen’s Proposal Took Her by Surprise
On Wednesday, “Who What Wear” released an interview with Steinfeld accompanied by a cover feature. Unsurprisingly, Allen’s Malibu proposal last year was discussed at length. Steinfeld, despite being closely guarded regarding her relationship revealed several details.
One of the first things she acknowledged was Allen’s foresight for the proposal. While it was a surprise proposal and the “Pitch Perfect” actress had no clue what was in store for her, the three-time Pro Bowler made sure that Steinfeld was dressed to her best, a fact that she is grateful for.
“I’m so grateful that he did it the way he did so that I looked good, and we have these photos that we’ll have and cherish for the rest of our lives that I’m not looking at being like, ‘What was I wearing?’” she said.
The “True Grit” actress was also asked about the day, specifically when she realized that Allen was proposing to her. Steinfeld highlighted that it’s all a blur for her.
“You know, I don’t think I can pinpoint it,” she said. “I blacked out completely. I don’t feel like I saw anything around me for several hours. I don’t feel like I don’t remember anything he said.”

“I’m still in shock. I’m still recovering. I don’t know when that moment was. I don’t know when that moment was, but I am so blessed and so lucky. I get to marry the man of my dreams, and he planned the most perfect proposal I could have ever, ever dreamt.”
She also pointed out that Malibu is her “happy place” and she’s glad that one of her most important and beautiful days is now forever tied to it. Allen’s picturesque proposal was labeled “magical” by her fiancé.
Bragging Rights for the Buffalo Bills
Despite never winning a Super Bowl, the Bills’ recent success is something to behold. With such success comes bragging rights for the team’s fans and families. In the same interview as above, Allen’s fiancee can be seen saying something that will hype up all of the Bills Mafia.
