‘Greg Olsen Deserves His Job Back’ – NFL Fans Unite To Complain About Tom Brady’s $375 Million Day Job

    Published on

NFL fans are requesting Greg Olsen become the No. 1 color commentator at Fox after their latest issues with Tom Brady and his dual roles.

The NFL playoffs are in full swing, and the Divisional Round game between the Detroit Lions and the Washington Commanders has started generating hype. However, much of its attraction lies away from the field.

Fox will telecast the game and announced its broadcast team, including Tom Brady. NFL fans expressed displeasure with this decision, citing a conflict of interest for the former quarterback and openly wishing Greg Olsen was back in the booth.

Fans Prefer Greg Olsen Over Tom Brady for Lions vs. Commanders Game

Olsen was the primary color commentator for Fox before the arrival of Brady and his $375 million, 10-year deal. Now Brady gets all the big games on his plate.

However, NFL reporter Ari Meirov pointed out one issue with Brady’s recent assignment.

Meirov took to X (formerly Twitter) and questioned Brady’s dual roles.

“Tom Brady will call the Commanders-Lions game on FOX — notable given Detroit’s offensive coordinator, Ben Johnson, is a top head coach candidate, and Brady is a minority owner of the Raiders, who are searching for a head coach,” he tweeted.

This tweet spread like wildfire, and fans did not shy away from sharing their opinion.

“How much will it take to put Greg Olson back on lead color crew?” responded one fan.

“It’s so obvious that Brady needs to step down from FOX. Totally ridiculous to run a franchise and broadcast playoff games at the same time. Greg Olsen deserves his job back,” tweeted a fan.

“Bring back Greg Olsen,” a fan added.

“Will be glad when Fox goes back to Greg Olson. No offense… but Brady is just terrible. Let him go be an owner,” another fan replied.

“Think it’s time we agree Greg Olsen gets back on that lead fox team,” added another fan.

“What a ridiculous situation this is just so we can’t listen to the far superior Greg Olsen each week,” tweeted one more fan.

One and Done for Brady at Fox?

This is not the first time Brady has been called out for his dual roles within the football world. Last week, David Samson during his appearance on “The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz,” predicted Brady will leave Fox and focus on the Las Vegas Raiders.

“He will be in the Raiders front office,” said Samson. “He will not return as an analyst for Fox. You cannot be this involved in the operation of a team and be the No. 1 analyst.

“It is an absolute insult to analysts, what he’s doing, and it’s an insult to team presidents, what he’s doing. You end up doing both of them in a mediocre way.”
