Greg Dulcich Dynasty Profile: Fantasy Outlook, Value, Projections, and Rankings

After a better-than-expected rookie season, what does Greg Dulcich's future look like, and what is his value in dynasty fantasy football leagues going forward?

As we inch toward the new season, the ever-changing NFL landscape has player fantasy values constantly on the move. Whether you’re used to the dynasty platform or are still learning the dynasty rules, let’s dive into the latest dynasty value of Greg Dulcich.

Greg Dulcich’s Dynasty Outlook and Value

In addition to Jerry Jeudy, one of the lone bright spots of the 2022 season for the Denver Broncos was rookie third-round tight end Dulcich. Injury cost Dulcich the first five weeks of the season, but it didn’t take long for him to make an impact once he got on the field. His second career reception went for a 39-yard touchdown.

It took Dulcich all of two weeks to see his first 80% snap share and become Denver’s starting tight end. Rookie TEs rarely matter for fantasy. Dulcich being an exception bodes very well for his future success.

Although he averaged just 8.6 ppg, Dulcich recorded four games with double-digit fantasy points, finishing as a TE1 in all of them. He commanded a 17.2% target share as a rookie, which was 13th in the league. He was also used downfield more than most tight ends, finishing with the third-highest average depth of target at 10.3 yards.

Much like the rest of Denver’s passing attack, Dulcich also had to deal with awful quarterback play. Unlike the other Broncos, he plays the most difficult position to transition to the NFL from college.

    Greg Dulcich’s Fantasy Ranking

Dulcich is only going to get better over the next few years. As his offensive situation inevitably improves, he has the potential to be a top-five tight end at some point in the not-too-distant future. I would be surprised if he wasn’t a TE1 in 2023. We have him at TE11 (No. 121 overall) in our dynasty Superflex rankings.

The state of the TE position is as bad as it’s ever been. It’s fair to say there isn’t a truly trustworthy option behind Travis Kelce. Dynasty managers with Dulcich should feel as good about their tight end position as anyone. He’s someone I’d be fine drafting at cost in dynasty startup drafts.
