Monday Night Football is here! The Green Bay Packers are set to face the New Orleans Saints in the Week 16 clash at Lambeau Field. However, Mother Nature may have an impact on tonight’s MNF battle. Let’s take a look at the weather report for the game between these two NFC teams.
Will We See Snow for Saints vs. Packers in Week 16?
According to NFLWeather.com, the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be between 23°F and 32°F. Rain may occur around kickoff, as precipitation is expected to be around 19%, along with a 92% cloud cover. Humidity is also expected to be around 88%.
Slight chances of snow drizzles are also possible during the second quarter of the game. According to the forecast, more than an inch of snow will fall on Monday, with the wind expected to blow at 2-3 miles per hour.
Snowing now in Green Bay, supposed to get a couple of inches but no snow if expected during game. More on field conditions when I get to Lambeau Field.@WWLAMFM pic.twitter.com/CvFFpPa5mP

As the game progresses, this cool weather could affect the players. Even if we don’t see snow, the weather is still expected to be cold.
Trusted NFL reporter Kat Terrell reported that Saints quarterbacks coach Andrew Janocko had a unique way to prepare his players for the cold Lambeau conditions — taking all his quarterbacks into the walk-in freezer at the team’s cafeteria, where they ran through their plays.
“This morning, Janocko took us in the cafeteria freezer, where it was like 10 degrees, and we’re just going through the whole script in there, and so just doing that, that helped a lot,” Saints QB Spencer Rattler said. “So, hopefully, it’s not 10 degrees, but we’ll be ready.”
“I think there’s something we said about just preparing for [the cold], so you’re not shocked, and it’s not something surprising,” Janocko said. “It’s something that you deal with as far as you prepare for the opponent and prepare for the venue. So, I just thought it was good to do something a little different.
“At this time of the year, it’s fun to do different stuff. It’s a long season and sometimes other than just sitting in a meeting day after day after day, just doing something different, changing up the scene. Guys thought it was hilarious. The cafeteria workers think I’m out of my mind.”
With just three games left in the season, tonight’s game has a ton of interesting storylines. Yes, the Saints have already been eliminated from playoff contention, but the team is still trying to find its identity for next year. With big names like Alvin Kamara, Derek Carr, and Chris Olave all out, tonight will be a good chance for a number of young players to audition for more playing time next season.
This includes Rattler, who has struggled in his rookie season with New Orleans so far.
The Packers, meanwhile, will look to clinch a playoff spot with a win. They have mathematically been eliminated from the NFC North division title and the NFC’s No. 1 seed. The best they can hope for now is a Wild Card spot.
The Packers have already been swept by the Detroit Lions and lost their first matchup vs. the Minnesota Vikings this season. Green Bay’s other loss was in Week 1 to the Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil. That means the Packers are 0-4 against the trio of NFC teams with a better record than them this season and 10-0 against all other opponents.
