The Green Bay Packers are Super Bowl hopefuls once again, and this 2025 NFL Mock Draft ensures that they’ll stay in that tier for years to come. How can the Packers approach the 2025 talent pool effectively? Here’s a look.
Who Could the Green Bay Packers Draft in the 2025 NFL Draft?
Note: The draft order for the 2025 NFL Mock Draft was derived from my record and playoff predictions for the 2024 NFL regular season.
1.31) Green Bay Packers: Jordan Hancock, CB, Ohio State
If the Packers choose to roll with Carrington Valentine opposite Jaire Alexander, they could target an upgrade from Keisean Nixon in the slot. Jordan Hancock would fill in nicely.
Hancock’s 2023 tape is eye-opening. Despite being listed at 6’1″, his energetic motion, fluidity, versatility, and relentless drive remind me a bit of Trent McDuffie.
2.63) Green Bay Packers: Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue
At 6’5″, 300 pounds, Marcus Mbow aligns with the Packers’ preference for versatility between tackle and guard.
At both spots, Mbow’s ability to stay square, match laterally, maintain leverage, and win with violent hands are major strengths.
3.95) Green Bay Packers: Kaden Prather, WR, Maryland
The Packers can afford to hedge for future turnover at WR. Kaden Prather has a level of separation ability at 6’3″, and he’s a grown man at the catch point.
Rounds 4-7
4.128) Brian Stevens, OC, Virginia
5.160) Zy Alexander, CB, LSU
6.192) Shemar Turner, EDGE, Texas A&M
7.224) Ulysses Bentley, RB, Ole Miss
Packers 2025 NFL Mock Draft Analysis
The Packers are one of the most interesting teams to mock for.
Unlike many others, there isn’t a set, cookie-cutter way to approach the Packers’ draft in 2025. The roster is young and very solid, and there aren’t many glaring needs.
Therefore, it’s very much up to the draftee to decide what to attack. I decided to go for upgrades first.
Keisean Nixon has had his good moments in the slot, and he’ll maintain value regardless as an All-Pro return man. But it may be time for a new starter at nickel.
Late in Round 1, the value from Jordan Hancock — a top-15 player on my board — was simply too good to pass up. Jeff Hafley’s secondary has its post safety, its strong safety, and two boundary CBs — but Hancock can be the “glue guy” in the middle.
Farther down the board, the Packers added a versatile and physical blocker in Marcus Mbow, who could feasibly enter the starting conversation at either guard or tackle if Rasheed Walker and Jordan Morgan falter long-term.
Meanwhile, Kaden Prather deepens an already-deep WR room and hedges for turnover in 2026.
On Day 3, Brian Stevens is a well-leveraged, active center prospect who could feasibly replace Josh Myers at the fulcrum.
Zy Alexander brings more athletic upside on the boundary. Shemar Turner brings more talent as a rotational big EDGE, and Ulysses Bentley gives Green Bay an experienced and explosive back.
