George Kittle has been the workhorse for the San Francisco 49ers for eight years, and this season was no different. The tight end mesmerized teammates and fans with his on-field performances.
The Niners have struggled throughout the year, but Kittle’s wife, Claire Kittle, is reminding the world that her husband is still at his peak.

In Week 18, the 49ers will face off against the Arizona Cardinals in a divisional battle to close out the NFL season for both of the eliminated teams. And although fans are feeling the crash after the high of last year’s Super Bowl run, Claire made sure to remind them that George was at his best.
Claire took to her Instagram and posted a screenshot on her stories. The screenshot stated, “George Kittle ranks among the top two most efficient pass catchers in the NFL – and he’s not #2.”
The chart showed George’s rating of 0.743 leading the pack amongst the NFL’s EPA/target leaders.
“& on that note,” captioned Claire over the screenshot and posted it to her Instagram stories.
The San Francisco TE’s performances didn’t go unnoticed, either, as the NFL announced that the 31-year-old has been selected for his sixth and fourth-consecutive Pro Bowl, which will take place in Orlando, FL.
George and Claire Kittle Could Be on the Move Soon Enough
Kittle will be entering the final year of his five-year, $75 million contract next season. As such, NFL analyst Mike Florio believes his latest showing against the Detroit Lions was a statement not only for the Niners but any other potential employers as well.
“He popped last night any time he had the ball in his hands, and I think the message is simple: ‘I can still play, and don’t try to come with me in the offseason and get me to take less to still be here. Because if you want to cut me, I still got it. And one of these other contenders out there, like maybe the Lions will want me,’” Florio said on Pro Football Talk.
This season, Kittle has registered 76 receptions for 1,079 receiving yards and eight touchdowns. He leads the entire 49ers roster in all three categories and is due for a big payday.
