So why should you proceed with caution regarding his prop numbers for this week?
For one thing, among Wilson’s 12 receptions are a 68-yard catch and a 29-yard reception. The other 10 catches have been for 68 yards, an average of 6.8 yards a catch.
Additionally, Wilson has been targeted 17 times combined and has just seven receptions, a catch percentage of only 41% over the last two weeks. Whether it’s the quarterback or receiver’s fault, the numbers still aren’t good.
With all that said, there is a prop number that I think will be worth playing. Given his history, quarterback Zach Wilson does not figure to complete passes. But I still think he will find Garrett at least five times in this game.
Wilson has had at least five receptions in half of his 20 career games, including two of his three games this season.
Someone has to do something offensively in this game for the Jets. I’ll go with their best player.
Garrett Wilson Best Bet: Over 4.5 receptions (-115 at DraftKings)
