The Detroit Lions will head to the NFC Championship Game with a win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. In the near term, Dan Campbell’s squad is concerned about the health of Pro Bowl center Frank Ragnow, who went down after a scary second-quarter collision.
Frank Ragnow Injury Update
Ragnow grabbed at his left knee following a play with 1:40 remaining in the second quarter. Lions quarterback Jared Goff was sacked, while one or more players appeared to roll up on the back of Ragnow’s left leg.
The former first-round pick was slow to get up but eventually departed the field under his own power. Fortunately, Ragnow was able to return for Detroit’s next offensive series.

However, Ragnow wasn’t the only Lions offensive lineman to suffer an injury in the Divisional Round.
Left guard Jonah Jackson had already left Sunday’s game with a knee injury. While he was initially listed as questionable to return, Jackson was eventually ruled out near the start of the second half.
Jackson missed five games during the regular season with ankle, wrist, and thigh injuries. Kayode Awosika, who made three starts in place of Jackson in 2023, has taken over at LG.

Detroit’s offensive line, which also contains first-team All-Pro Penei Sewell at right tackle and experienced veterans Taylor Decker and Graham Glasgow at left tackle and right guard, is among the best units in the NFL.
The Lions’ OL ranked No. 1 in adjusted line yards, suggesting they created more space for their running backs than any front five in the league.
