Bill Belichick is, and always will be, known for his Hall of Fame coaching career with the New England Patriots. The gruff, often short-spoken head coach spent most of his professional career leading Tom Brady and Co. to six Super Bowl victories. Pair that with the two he won as an assistant coach, and his résumé speaks for itself.
As Belichick moves into the next phase of his career as the head coach of the North Carolina Tar Heels, he seems to have loosened up a bit. Surprising many, he and 24-year-old girlfriend Jordan Hudson took to social media to share their beach day.

Robert Griffin III Likens Bill Belichick to T-Pain
Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN analyst Robert Griffin III took to X to voice his own opinion on Belichick and Hudson.
“Bill Belichick in his T-Pain I’m Sprung Era.” This is in reference to T-Pain’s hit song “I’m Sprung,” which features lyrics like, “Dog she got me. Got me doin’ things I’ll never do.”

UFC fighter Terrance McKinney responded to Griffin’s post, saying, “Think she’s in it for true love?” Griffin in turn responded, “They say love is blind.”
Another fan responded, “Some women wanna fly 1st class, and some wanna fly coach.” Griffin wrote, “She flying Private Bill.”
While these puns and jokes are well-crafted, the question on Tar Heels fans’ minds is: Will this help us win games?

New-Look Belichick Looks To Take Tar Heels to CFP
Belichick’s departure from the New England Patriots after the 2023 season wasn’t a shock. His 24-year run was historic, and it felt like the right time for a change. He wasn’t ready to quit coaching, though, and several NFL teams were reportedly interested in him during the 2024 offseason cycle. Instead of taking the more obvious route, Belichick elected to take the year off and see which opportunities came his way.
While the news of his girlfriend’s age surprised many, Belichick’s move to North Carolina arguably raised more eyebrows. After spending the past season as an NFL analyst for various programs, his decision to join a college program that has struggled in recent years was unexpected for many fans and media members.
The most likely reason for Belichick’s move to Carolina was to be able to take the reins again. His immediate hiring of his son as defensive coordinator and the reported stipulation that his girlfriend be CC’d on his emails defend that thought. Whether this is truly a “new” Belichick remains to be seen. However, he and his girlfriend will certainly keep making headlines.
