“This Type of S*** Fires Me Up” – Former Oregon NFL Prospect Calls Out Deion Sanders and Colorado

One former Oregon player was triggered by the actions of Colorado players under Deion Sanders. What was the reason?

Colorado, under the direction of NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders, has repeatedly found ways to seek out motivation before taking the football field, playing into their 3-0 start.

But now, the Buffaloes may have given their next opponent for Saturday afternoon, the Oregon Ducks, some motivation of their own.

Ex-Edge Rusher Reacts to Online Video of Colorado Players on Oregon’s Field: ‘Zero Class’

Former edge rusher and Oregon graduate Bryson Young reacted to a video that surfaced online of Buffalo players standing in the middle of Autzen Stadium.

But it’s the actions of some of the players that persuaded him to rip the Buffs.

In the video, Colorado players are seen standing on top of the “O” at midfield, but others are shown wiping their feet on the logo. Those actions triggered the defender who played from 2016 to 2019 in Eugene.

“Listen I’m not in Oregon’s locker room anymore but this is the type of s*** that fires me up. That O represents a ton of hard work, sacrifice, and success from so many people. Walking over/raking up an opponent’s logo shows zero class. #goducks Enough said,” Young said.

Are Fans Predicting Colorado’s First Loss?

The Buffs have managed to captivate college football with a bravado that hasn’t been seen in Boulder before, including during their glory years of the late 1980s and early 1990s when the program was a national title contender.

Colorado has beaten the national title runner-up TCU to start the year, then added back-to-back home wins over Nebraska and Colorado State, with the latter game going into overtime.

But is No. 10 Oregon heavily favored?

The Ducks are an astonishing 21-point favorite to hand Colorado its first loss of the season. There’s even one opposing coach who spoke to ESPN college football insider Pete Thamel about his prediction of how Colorado/Oregon will go.

“I think Oregon is going to boat race them,” the opposing assistant coach said Friday, who spoke on the condition of anonymity. “Oregon is different upfront. There’s a lot of bark, not much bite, to Colorado. When they run into the bigger dogs in the Pac-12, it’s going to come to an end.”

However, if CU needed any additional motivation from the coaching staff, it didn’t need to solely come from “Coach Prime.” It comes from edge rush coach Nick Williams.

He revealed that he worked with Oregon head coach Dan Lanning when they were at Georgia and claims Lanning never believed in him, claiming “mother f***** told me ‘You ain’t never going to be no coach.'” But now he says it “put a battery on my back.”
