The Super Bowl 59 has the potential to be historic on several fronts. The Kansas City Chiefs are vying to become the first-ever NFL team to three-peat, while the Philadelphia Eagles are trying to prevent that.
The former Chiefs head coach Herm Edwards has highlighted one player that can make all the difference in this game.

Herm Edwards Names His Game Changer
Edwards has a special vantage point for the Super Bowl since the 70-year-old analyst has both the Chiefs and the Eagles on his resume. Edwards played defensive back for Philadelphia from 1977 to 1985 and went to the Super Bowl 15.
He became the defensive backs coach for the Chiefs (1992-1995) and the HC from 2006 to 2008. On Sunday, Edwards appeared on “Good Morning America,” he was asked whether the Chiefs would be able to stop Saquon Barkley.
“Well, I don’t know if you can stop him. What they have to be concerned with is the big explosion plays. I mean, he’s going to make five and six yards, but it’s the 20–30-yard plays. This one you’re going to see right here,” Edwards said pointing out Barkley’s run from the game against Washington.

“You got to tackle him. You got to get him on the grass. You can’t allow him to do this, because if this happens, the chiefs have no chance. You can’t allow him to make the big explosion plays.”
“And this is why he’s so unique as a running back. He can take a five-yard play and all of a sudden make it a 25-yard play.”
Barkley logged his career-best 2,005 yards and 13 touchdowns in the regular season. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year continued similarly in the postseason, with 442 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The birthday boy will be looking to add another feather to his cap after moving away from the New York Giants. The RB has been on fire all season long and can outplay any defense under the right conditions.
In addition to Barkley, the former Chiefs head coach also highlighted Jalen Hurts as the one who will get the job done for the Eagles. On the Chiefs side, Edwards considers tight end Travis Kelce the most dangerous offensive player in the game.
