According to a former Chiefs cheerleader, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have started a cute tradition after every Chiefs home game.

As we all know by now, Taylor Swift regularly attends Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend Travis Kelce’s home games, Swift was there for K.C.’s Divisional Round game when the Chiefs played the Houston Texans.

What a lot of fans may not know is a postgame tradition, started between the two when they started dating, was recently revealed by a former Chiefs cheerleader.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Cute Tradition

Former Chiefs cheerleader Stefanie Hill revealed on TikTok how she and the other cheerleaders would fangirl overseeing Swift at their games.

“The very first game she ever attended, I almost pooped myself when I was in that corner,” she laughed as she recalled in the TikTok posted in Sept. 2024. She said at the time, she thought, “I don’t know how to do my job right now because I have to watch the game, lead the chants and cheers and dances.”

She and the Chiefs cheerleaders did their routine and she noticed Swift’s approval of their routine.

“We performed my choreography in the end zone. I looked up, and no joke, she was on the screen and she was clapping,” Hill said about Swift. “And I was like, ‘She just watched our team dance and is now applauding and she liked my choreography.'”

One game, she and the other cheerleaders wanted to see if they could meet Swift because she noticed a postgame tradition the two of them started. She saw that Swift would wait for Kelce outside the Chiefs locker room after home games.

“At the end of the game, she would always meet Travis by the locker room,” the former cheerleader shares.

“So there was one game that we were like, ‘We have just got to wait here, and I’m sure we are gonna see her walk by and if we all stand by the door.'”

She continued to say that she and the other cheerleaders “huddle” around the locker room just to get a glance of Swift, and lo and behold, she noticed them and stopped and took pics with them.

“We were waiting for like a really long time. I’m not even a Swiftie, and I was like crawled down in the front waiting to take my picture with her,” she says laughing at the memory.

After meeting Swift, she became a fan. “Overall, I was a huge fan of having her a part of Chiefs Kingdom” — as are most K.C. fans, and she seems to be a good luck charm for her boyfriend and his team. Kelce had a huge game in the Divisional Round victory against the Texans, catching seven passes for 117 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs’ 23-14 win over the Texans.
