    2020 NFL Season

Even with the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the NFL season started as planned on the 10th of September. With one and a half months played, the NFL has been able to proceed without any major disturbance. Some games have been postponed but apart from that, it’s a season much as what we’re used to. The big question is when we will be able to see fans at the stadiums again.

In the American Football Conference, it is Kansas City Chiefs, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Baltimore Raven who’ve opened the season-best. There’s of course still a lot to happen this season but by looking at the odds for the winner of the conference, you can tell that any of these three teams have a good chance of doing so.

A bit closer opening in the National Football Conference where the odds favorites to win the conference are Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Seattle Seahawks, and Green Bay Packers. Green Bay Packers will be eager to win their 14th league trophy. They’re already at the top when it comes to most won league titles but wouldn’t mind extending that lead.

    This is the NFL

For everyone that loves football, the NFL is the obvious choice of entertainment. The NFL has been played since 1920 and it’s today one of the wealthiest sports in the whole world. The annual financial turnover is huge and the league itself is followed by millions and millions of fans.

There are 32 teams in the NFL, all from the USA. You don’t need to be a big fan of any team to appreciate this league or sport. The NFL has so much to offer that it can make anyone start following the games live. The teams are divided into conferences, the American Football Conference and the National Football Conference. There are 16 teams in each conference and these conferences are further divided into four geographical divisions. After the regular season is finished, in the playoffs, teams from different conferences don’t face each other until the Super Bowl.

    Super Bowl LV

Super Bowl LV, the 55th edition, is planned to be played on the 7th of February. If there’s going to be an audience watching the game is still not decided. The game will take place at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. If the Covid-19 situation is still not under control when the game is going to be played it’s going to be a very different Super Bowl from what we’re used to. No half time shows and national anthem performance, two of the most significant parts of the Super Bowl, will for sure take away some of the hype around the game.
