2021 NFL Draft | FBS Independents Scouting Reports: Massachusetts Minutemen
Larnel Coleman NFL Draft Scouting Report | Offensive Line
Positives: Nice-sized offensive tackle with a large upside. Sets with a wide base, works to bend his knees, and fires off the snap into blocks. Explosive at the point, displays good initial strength, and stays with assignments. Strong, squares into opponents, and takes them from the action. Keeps his head on a swivel, displays good awareness, and always looks for someone to hit. Effectively places his hands into opponents, has long arms, and rides defenders from the action.
Negatives: Must learn to finish blocks and tends to fall off defenders. Shows stiffness in his game, lumbers out to the second level, and gets tall as the play proceeds.
Analysis: Coleman was a terrific left tackle for Massachusetts, but he projects to the right side and is a developmental prospect worth keeping on a practice squad next fall.
2021 NFL Draft | FBS Independents Scouting Reports: New Mexico State Aggies
Sage Doxtater NFL Draft Scouting Report | Offensive Line
Positives: Nice-sized prospect with good upside. Stays square, keeps his head on a swivel, and effectively uses body positioning to seal defenders from the action. Remains disciplined with assignments. Works to bend his knees, blocks with leverage, and gets his hands into opponents.
Negatives: Lacks great footwork off the edge. Shows average strength and does not get much movement run blocking despite his size.
Analysis: Doxtater was a solid player for New Mexico State, and he’s a developmental right-tackle prospect who must physically mature and get stronger.

Shaun Crawford NFL Draft Scouting Report | Safety
Positives: Instinctive, hard-working safety with poor speed. Keeps the action in front of him, remains disciplined, and quickly reads and diagnoses plays. Sells out on the blitz, gives great effort, and takes proper angles to the action.
Negatives: Plays to one speed and does not show a burst. Loses out of his transition and struggles with coverage assignments. Not a stout tackler.
Analysis: Crawford gives great effort and shows a terrific head for the ball, but he’s a marginal athlete. He can only play in confined quarters and must stand out on special teams this summer.
