Fantasy football managers who will be without Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb this week are going to have to make some tough lineup decisions on who to start or sit at the WR position this week.
Here are some of my start/sit options at the WR position for Week 7 of NFL action.

Which WRs Should You Start in Fantasy This Week?
Tate’s Other Week 7 Start/Sit Options: QB | RB | TE
Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
Speaking of injury situations to monitor, DK Metcalf has been dealing with a rib injury and appeared to have his hip looked at on the sideline during the team’s 17-13 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6.
While Metcalf was banged up on Sunday, Tyler Lockett capitalized with a season-high 94 receiving yards.
If Metcalf is unavailable for Week 7, Lockett should be in top-15 consideration against an Arizona Cardinals secondary torched by Ja’Marr Chase and Cooper Kupp in consecutive weeks.
Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens
Zay Flowers finally scored his first touchdown of the season against the Tennessee Titans, which helped him register his best fantasy outing since the season opener.
MORE: Fantasy News Tracker
Flowers is the most targeted pass catcher on the team and has a sizable target gap between himself and the next receiver on the Ravens roster.
While Flowers had another nice day, it still feels like there is some meat left on the bone on a weekly basis. If Flowers and Lamar Jackson can ever get fully in sync on their deeper shots down the field, then Flowers could begin to flirt with top-15 consideration at the WR position.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Chargers
It only took six weeks, but Puka Nacua finally put up a game of fewer than 10 fantasy points. Seven targets in Week 6 tied a season low, while his four receptions for 26 yards were easily the lowest marks of his rookie campaign.
Now, Nacua nearly salvaged his fantasy day with a missed opportunity on a diving catch attempt in the end zone that he was unable to secure fully through contact with the ground.
While the Week 6 stat line is disappointing for fantasy managers, Nacua is still very involved in a pass-heavy scheme, which should continue to reap fantasy benefits against a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that runs a lot of zone coverage … and Nacua absolutely destroys zone coverage.
Which WRs Should You Sit in Fantasy This Week?
Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
The Denver Broncos offense hasn’t really featured any one specific player through the first six games of the season, which unfortunately includes WR Jerry Jeudy.
Jeudy has never seen eight targets in a single game. He has failed to top 55 yards receiving in all but one game this season. And he hasn’t scored a touchdown yet.
He simply isn’t giving us enough reasons to feel confident he will return WR2 value in your starting lineup right now.
Amari Cooper, Cleveland Browns
Amari Cooper can still make big plays even without Deshaun Watson under center, but they feel a bit tougher to predict.
His 108-yard performance was a bit of a surprise, but 58 of those yards did come on one play with PJ Walker under center.
Cooper can still produce numbers with Walker under center, but I find it hard to trust Walker, which makes it just as hard to trust Cooper returns the WR2 value you hope to get with him in your starting lineup.

Should You Start Puka Nacua or Chris Godwin?
Chris Godwin has been solid yet unspectacular through the first five games of the NFL season.
However, Nacua has been nothing short of historic through his first six games.
MORE: PFN Consensus Rankings
Sure, Nacua is coming off his worst game of the year, while Godwin has 14 passes for 191 yards over the last two games, but the sample size has definitely favored Nacua throughout this season.
I’m encouraged by what I’ve seen from Godwin recently, but I still feel the ceiling is a bit higher with Nacua this week against the Steelers.
Should You Start Jerry Jeudy or Josh Downs?
Jeudy has been involved but not exactly featured in this Sean Payton offense in Denver.
On the other hand, we’ve seen rookie wide receiver Josh Downs’ role continue to grow through the first six games of the season.
That said, this is not the week to roll with the rookie. Downs draws a matchup against a stingy Browns defense that should make life very difficult for Gardner Minshew.
Jeudy’s floor, while not as high as we would’ve hoped, is still high enough to start over Downs this week.
