Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 10: Preston Williams, Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown, more

There might not be a more vital position to determining your team’s upside in fantasy football than the wide receiver, and knowing which players are healthy or who is on the injury report could be the difference in a win or loss in Week 10. This makes finding regular updates paramount. What are the latest injury report updates on fantasy receivers AJ Brown, Preston Williams, and Deebo Samuel? Looking at the most recent WR injury reports and updates, we try to figure out who we should lock into our Week 10 fantasy lineups and who might continue to miss time.

Make sure to check out our Week 10 RB injury updates as well as some other key injuries for fantasy football.

Please note that we will continue to update this article as more news and injury updates become available.

The biggest injury question marks for fantasy WRs heading into Week 10

Every week in the NFL, there are plenty of bumps and bruises that players have to work through, and Week 10 is no different. However, there are some big questions marks that we need to address, which revolve around key players throughout the league. This includes the latest injury updates for the likes of AJ Brown, Allen Lazard, Deebo Samuel, Preston Williams, and TY Hilton. Below their injury status are more updates on the wide receivers around the league – those updates are sorted by conference.

Is AJ Brown playing in Week 10 has there been any injury report updates?

Thursday, November 12: AJ Brown will play on Thursday Night Football.

Wednesday, November 11: AJ Brown did not appear on the team’s injury report in the Wednesday update. He looks like he is ready to go on Thursday Night Football.

Tuesday, November 10: AJ Brown has been dealing with a knee injury for much of the season, and the Titans estimated that he would have sat out if they had practiced. However, that did not stop AJ Brown from dominating on Sunday, where he caught four passes for 101 yards and a touchdown.

While likely to be a limited participant in practice this week and baring any new injury report updates, AJ Brown should be good to go for Thursday as they take on divisional opponent Indianapolis Colts. However, the short week does make Brown’s availability more in doubt than it would be if the Titans played Sunday.

Is Allen Lazard playing in Week 10?

Sunday, November 15: Although being close to ready, Lazard was ultimately inactive due to soreness.

Friday, November 13: According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Allen Lazard did not practice today as he tries to come back from core muscle surgery and is still dealing with soreness. No setback. But sounds like the team will be cautious and this may not be the week he returns. If not, expect him back next week.

Thursday, November 12: Allen Lazard was not listed on the team’s injury report on Thursday. He appears to be on track to play Sunday.

Wednesday, November 11: There are no further updates as of Wednesday.

Tuesday, November 10: Packers WR Allen Lazard nearly played last week, and it took the team up until their inactives were posted on Thursday night to rule him out for the week having designated him for return from the IR after undergoing core muscle surgery.

We’re now over two weeks into Lazard’s 21-day practice window, so Lazard has a week to be officially activated from IR. Knowing that it almost happened last week, there is reason to believe he will be out there for the team against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Lazard’s return would give the Packers their only usable fantasy WR not named Davante Adams.

What is the latest injury report update on Deebo Samuel and his fantasy status for Week 10?

Sunday, November 15: Samuel has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Saints, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Friday, November 13: The 49ers officially ruled out WR Deebo Samuel for Sunday’s game against the Saints.

Thursday, November 12: Samuel did not practice on Thursday. He is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Wednesday, November 11: The latest injury update for Deebo Samuel is that he did not participate in Wednesday’s practice.

Tuesday, November 10: According to the latest injury report updates, Deebo Samuel appears close to returning to the field after dealing with a nagging hamstring injury. The second-year pro has been an annoyingly consistent name on the injury report for fantasy managers as he has played in only four games this year, catching 16 of his 22 targets for 185 yards and one touchdown.

According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said that Deebo Samuel has a “chance” to play against the Saints in Week 10. That would provide a boost to the San Francisco offense, and Deebo Samuel would likely be a massive piece for their offense, especially with Brandon Aiyuk also returning to action.

Is there an injury report update on WR Preston Williams heading into Week 10 for fantasy?

Thursday, November 12: Preston Williams was placed on injured reserve on Wednesday.

Wednesday, November 11: According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, after running the tests, they chose to place Preston Williams on the injured reserve. Head coach Brian Flores said that Preston William’s injury was a bit more significant than they first thought. Until we have another injury update for Preston Williams in a few weeks, he needs to remain out of your fantasy lineups.

Tuesday, November 10: Unfortunately for Miami Dolphins fans, WR Preston Williams can’t make it past the team’s eighth game for the second straight season, causing fantasy managers to wait for injury updates again in critical weeks of the season.

Preston Williams appeared to suffer a foot injury while being tackled by a defensive back on his touchdown catch in Sunday’s win over the Arizona Cardinals. Also, having his fellow teammate jump on his back seemed to do him no favors as well, and was favoring it immediately.

Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 10 | Is TY Hilton playing?

Thursday, November 12: TY Hilton will play on Thursday night.

Wednesday, November 11: According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Colts’ WR TY Hilton had a full practice again on Wednesday and will play on Thursday night vs. Titans.

Tuesday, November 10: Receiver TY Hilton called himself “very close” to returning. But the ultimate decision on his Week 10 status will be up to “the coaches and the doctors.” He was a full participant again Tuesday as he works his way back from a groin injury that kept him out of Week 9.

He played only 28 snaps against the Lions in Week 8 and has just three catches for 20 yards over the past three games. For the season, Hilton has made 22 catches for 251 yards but has yet to score a touchdown.

The issue for Hilton is the Colts have a short week as they play on Thursday night against Tennessee, so he does not have the benefit of the additional three days of rest and recovery for his injury. It is trending in the right direction for his fantasy availability, but it is going to be close.
