The levels are 3x, 6x, 10x, and 20x, progressing with each additional pick ’em you add to your entry. Let’s take a look at this week’s Thursday night Underdog Pick’ems.

Russell Wilson Higher Than 227.5 Passing Yards

Russell Wilson has failed to reach this number in three of his five games played. So, why do I like it this week? In the two weeks Wilson did go higher, he soared above it, throwing for over 300 yards. The reason? Negative game script.

The Broncos had to throw to keep pace with the Washington Commanders in Week 2, and they got blown out by the Miami Dolphins in Week 3.

The Chiefs are heavy favorites in this one. If things go as expected, they will maintain a lead throughout. That should force Wilson to throw to try and keep pace with Patrick Mahomes.

Isiah Pacheco Higher Than 0.5 Touchdowns

Simply put, this man is scoring this week. The Broncos have a historically bad run defense. They’re the worst in the league in just about every metric, including fantasy points allowed. Most relevant, they’ve allowed eight rushing touchdowns to running backs.

With the Chiefs heavily favored on a short week, this is a great spot for them to lean on their running game. You can take all of Isiah Pacheco’s highers, but the touchdown feels like the most likely to occur.

Rashee Rice Higher Than 30.5 Receiving Yards

Rashee Rice has gone higher than this number in three straight games. While he’s still playing far less than he should be, Rice was targeted on half his routes run last week. The Chiefs have one of the worst group of wide receivers in recent history. The only one we aren’t already certain isn’t good is Rice.

So far, he looks quite good. Conventional wisdom suggests his role is bound to increase, and that could happen as soon as Thursday night. If it does, he could smash this projection.
