    George and Travis delve deeper into Travis’ expertise by talking some fantasy football to help you out after a crazy week 1 and to provide some fantasy waiver wire pickups for week 2. Andy Dalton had a monster game in taking the Cincinnati Bengals to a near-upset of the Seattle Seahawks, and the Red Rifle might be worth a shot if you need help at quarterback. If not Dalton, then possibly rookie Gardner Minshew who produced one of the most accurate debuts for a rookie quarterback in NFL history. As for running back, Malcolm Brown made a big impression carrying the load for the Los Angeles Rams in the first half before Todd Gurley took over after halftime.

    Washington Redskins – Adrian Peterson inactive

    Then it’s the latest controversy with the Washington Redskins. For the first time in his career, Adrian Peterson was inactive despite being injury-free. Peterson was resigned by the Redskins after running for over 1,000 yards last year and was named team offensive MVP. Jay Gruden was reportedly opposed to bringing Peterson back but may turn to him after Derrius Guice’s injury

    Monday night madness

    A quick recap of the Monday night results follows beginning with the wild finish in New Orleans between the Saints and the Houston Texans. Why did Houston rush only three pass rushers against Drew Brees late as he was driving New Orleans for a winning field goal? Jon Gruden may have the last laugh with the Raiders looking improved after defeating the Denver Broncos. Jon Elway’s latest attempt to find a quarterback, Joe Flacco, had a difficult evening in front of a raucous crowd in Oakland.
