Top TE Streamers for Week 6
Logan Thomas, Washington Commanders (at Atlanta Falcons)
“The Washington Commanders’ starting TE” has been targeted or scored in four of five weeks this season, and Thomas is currently filling that role. He was Sam Howell’s safety blanket during the blowout loss at the hands of the Chicago Bears (9 catches on 11 targets for 77 yards and a TD).

The upside in this Commanders offense is capped (four different Commanders average 5.4-6.2 targets per game), but Howell’s willingness to spread the ball around helps elevate the floor of Logan Thomas. His role in this offense gives him the ability to sneak into the top 12 at the position in any matchup, and you could argue that this is a favorable matchup if the Commanders elect to avoid A.J. Terrell.
Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans (vs. Saints)
A touchdown in consecutive weeks is one thing, but earning 31.3% of the targets is another. In the loss to the Falcons in Week 5, Dalton Schultz accounted for 35% of C.J. Stroud’s completions as the Falcons put a focus on limiting Nico Collins.
Speaking of the receiver room, Tank Dell got banged up on Sunday. Schultz’s value doesn’t hinge on the status of Dell, but the Texans have made it clear that they want to develop their rookie quarterback with experience, so if Dell sits, Schultz would be the secondary pass catcher in a high-volume offense.
Houston, we have a quarterback 🚀#Texans QB CJ Stroud with a strike to Dalton Schultz to take the lead! 🔥

The floor is low, as it is with everyone at the position. If you’re streaming the position, you’re searching for any semblance of upside, and that is exactly what the former Dallas Cowboy showed us in Week 5.
Jonnu Smith, Atlanta Falcons (vs. Commanders)
The veteran tight end is the furthest thing from exciting, and Kyle Pitts does seem to be coming on, but if you’re in a deeper league, 6+ targets in four straight games deserves your attention. He has caught nearly 78% of his targets this season, a mandate in a limited pass game like this.
Of course, the floor is low, given that the Falcons want to dictate tempo on the ground, but his efficiency against a defense that just got lit up by the Chicago Bears makes him the best Week 6 option that is widely available.
