No position in fantasy football benefits more from earning a point per reception than the WR position. High-volume pass-catching machines at the WR position can often times be more valuable than running backs who regularly score 10 rushing touchdowns but rarely catch passes in a full-PPR format.
Here is a closer look at the fantasy wide receiver rankings in a full-PPR format entering the 2024 NFL season.

Who Are the Best Wide Receivers To Draft in Fantasy?
CeeDee Lamb
Dallas Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb’s 135 receptions for 1,749 yards and 12 TDs in 2023 put fantasy managers on notice that he is an elite option at the WR position.
Was last year simply the perfect storm of circumstances to help Lamb produce a WR1 overall fantasy finish? Dak Prescott was outstanding, the drop in efficiency of the running game — particularly in the red zone — led to a higher reliance on Lamb to engine the offense, and the shift in usage after a slow start through the five games of the season worked wonders for his fantasy value.
MORE: Fantasy Scoring
Well, I would argue that pretty much nothing has changed. In actuality, the running game and offensive line could have actually gotten worse this offseason — which could mean Lamb sees a similar feature role in this offense.
This isn’t simply a copy-and-paste job from last year’s fantasy stats to this year’s fantasy rankings. Lamb still feels like the frontrunner for WR1 overall finish in 2024.
Garrett Wilson
Garrett Wilson truthers were subjected to another year of bad quarterback play, which made his WR26 finish in full-PPR formats with 95 receptions for 1,042 yards and three TDs a bit of a disappointment. In my opinion, those numbers should not be used as a case against Wilson’s outlook entering the 2024 NFL season.
We can all agree that catching passes from quarterbacks like Zach Wilson, Trevor Siemian, and Tim Boyle isn’t likely to help you realize your full fantasy potential, correct? Yes.

Can we all agree that Rodgers has a lengthy track record of helping elevate dynamic playmakers at receiver to elite top-five fantasy producers at the position during his NFL career? Yes.
I understand he hasn’t done it yet, but let’s not pretend the potential impact of a future Hall of Fame quarterback can’t elevate the 2022 first-round pick’s game to the next level.
