The WR position is arguably the deepest when it comes to fantasy football in 2024. However, that can bring its own concerns as managers can tend to wait too long to address the position in drafts.
That is where entering your drafts with a clear set of rankings can be crucial in terms of knowing where you might find value. However, producing those WR fantasy rankings can be tough, and that is where PFN’s consensus rankings can help.
We take the analysis and research of our analysts, Derek Tate, Kyle Soppe, and Jason Katz, and combine their rankings into a consensus list to provide you with all the benefits of their 30+ years of experience. Those rankings can then help you build a solid strategy for your drafts in 2024.
The rankings below also fuel the PFN Fantasy Football Trade Analyzer and the Trade Value Charts. Therefore, to see how each player compares across positions and scoring formats, check out those, as well as our other fantasy tools.

Who Are the Best Value Wide Receivers To Draft in Fantasy?
Davante Adams, LAs Vegas Raiders
To the surprise of very few people at this moment, Adams’ ADP is currently No. 16 overall as the WR9 off the board in fantasy football drafts.
If you could guarantee me Adams will see north of 170 targets for a third straight year, I would be fine selecting the veteran wideout while overlooking a less-than-ideal QB situation, a new dynamic pass-catching TE, and the fact he plays on a team expected to run the football a lot in a season. He will also turn 32 years old this season.
Adams’ struggles against former Kansas City Chiefs CB L’Jarius Sneed in Week 16 last year showed me some signs that he isn’t quite as dominant as he used to be, but I’m not willing to write him off quite yet.
I just don’t want to bank on everything staying the exact same for Adams to return on the second-round investment you’ll need to make to get him on your squad. I would prefer to go with multiple other options at other positions than Adams at his current ADP.

Deebo Samuel Sr., San Francisco 49ers
Samuel is coming off the board as WR17 this season and is a popular pick in the beginning stages of Round 3. Again, that can make sense, but it’s generally not the direction I’m going.
That means taking on his risk over players that I perceive to have a higher weekly floor with similar annual upside, such as DJ Moore or Mike Evans.
Aiyuk and Samuel are both being drafted in the same neighborhood, and I’d confidently go with Aiyuk in the decision between the two 49ers receivers. The depth of the WR position across the NFL has me taking my upside shots later in the draft rather than taking on risk in the first few rounds.
In 2023, Samuel averaged under 70 total yards per game without significant PPR upside and an unlucky touchdown season (five in 13 games on 98 touches). That downside, in my opinion, is more in play than anything close to the upside we saw in 2021 (1,770 scrimmage yards with 14 touchdowns).
