Fantasy football rankings look different for everyone. There are several moving pieces to consider on the player evaluation side of things, not to mention your specific league setup (scoring format, roster construction, team count, etc.).
That said, I’m here to help you as best I can. I’d encourage you to use the below list as a guide — move your favorite options around and create tiers. By stepping back and evaluating the position as a whole, you allow yourself to be flexible when you’re on the clock.

Who Are the Best Superflex Options To Draft in Fantasy?
Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals
Murray is the final dual-threat quarterback who could lead the position in scoring this season. Of course, there are injury concerns to overcome, given his size and the potential for a learning curve as this young offense develops.
However, if you’re playing to win your league, you’re looking for elite form down the stretch, and that is very much possible.
Kyler Murray is unfair… 😧 pic.twitter.com/71WSNd8sxQ
— Football’s Greatest Moments (@FBGreatMoments) August 27, 2024
Murray was QB4 in 2020 — his only season where both he and his star WR1 were healthy. He opened up that campaign with nine straight top-10 performances (six of which were top-five), and that’s the selling point: consistency.
An elite athlete at the position has the ability to own an elevated floor. That’s even more true with a game-changing pass catcher — and we think Murray has two!
If you’re swinging big at the beginning of your Superflex draft, this is exactly the type of profile I want. Entering 2024, a healthy Murray, in my opinion, has a better chance of winning you your league than he does failing in a significant way.
Rashee Rice, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
Now that we are time to draft for real — Rice is a strong option and this is a prime example of why you don’t draft too early. A month ago, we all assumed that Kansas City’s WR1 would be suspended and were shying away from taking him anywhere near where his standout rookie campaign would suggest.
As it stands now, we have to assume that Rice is a full-go for this season, and in doing as much, he’s firmly in the WR1 conversation. Last season, Rice became the fourth rookie receiver over the past 20 seasons to earn 9+ targets in five straight games. The others?
- Amon-Ra St. Brown: WR10 in Year 2
- Mike Evans: WR3 in Year 3
- Brandon Aiyuk: WR12 in total FP from Years 2-3
The knock on Rice by most is the reliance on short targets, but doesn’t that just ensure that he’ll be fed on a consistent basis by maybe the best quarterback that has ever picked up a football?
Top TD% seasons on short passes since Tyreek Hill left KC
- Mahomes (2022): 7.5%
- Mahomes (2023): 5.8%
Rice finished with 79 catches for 938 yards and seven scores as a rookie, a season in which he wasn’t unleashed until November. The ceiling is higher than your leaguemates want to acknowledge, and I want you to be in position to capitalize on that.
