The Top Kickers To Start in Week 13

    Jake Moody, San Francisco 49ers

Jake Moody started the season out on fire, but he’s fallen off a bit here in recent weeks and has been a bit hit or miss. However, we could see points flying up on the board this week in a Sunday afternoon showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Weather may be an issue, as it’s going to be in Philadelphia. But the projected over/under should entice fantasy managers to get Moody into their starting lineups, as the 49ers will also have a rest advantage.

Matt Gay, Indianapolis Colts (at Titans)

Analysis by Kyle Soppe | Any kicker that has made at least three extra points and multiple field goals in three of his past four games has the fantasy green light, and that is exactly what Matt Gay has done. Would I prefer this game to be at home on turf? Of course, but he’s proven more than capable of producing in less-than-ideal spots.

This season, Gay has hung 10+ fantasy points on the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns, not to mention scoring 12 against these Tennessee Titans in the first matchup. The Indianapolis Colts’ offense may not have the firepower of a team like the Dallas Cowboys, but Gardner Minshew II is moving the ball well enough to support a kicker that needs to be started in all fantasy leagues.
