The Top DSTs To Start in Week 15

    Miami Dolphins, DST (vs. NYJ)

Analysis by Kyle Soppe | The Miami Dolphins rank among the best defenses in the league with their front four, and that puts them in a favorable spot most weeks. Combine that strength with an elite offense that can put pressure on Zach Wilson to be overly aggressive, and this is the profile of a D/ST that could swing matchups this week.

Miami’s defense scored 23 points in the first meeting with their divisional rival, courtesy of seven sacks and a touchdown.

Los Angeles Rams, DST (vs. WAS)

Analysis by Jason Katz | When choosing which defense to start, fantasy managers rightfully want to target bad offenses. But sometimes, that only produces a floor game.

If a defense holds an opponent to 10 points, but that opponent is content to just run and protect the football, there won’t be many opportunities for the defense to accumulate stats.

The Washington Commanders do not have a bad offense, but if they fall behind, they are going to try and throw to come back. That is exactly what we want in a defense.

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a crushing overtime loss to the Baltimore Ravens. At home, they should bounce back in a big way against a weak opponent. As a result, they will create a negative game script for the Commanders.

When the Commanders are trailing, they aren’t going to just run the ball and accept defeat like some other teams; they will throw. More Sam Howell dropbacks equal more opportunities for sacks and turnovers.

Howell has taken at least three sacks in all but one game this season. He’s taken 58 total sacks on the season. While defensive scores are tough to predict, Howell has thrown four touchdowns in his last three games … except three of them have been to the wrong team. Fire up the Rams’ defense this week.
