Fantasy QB Streamers and Rankings Week 10: Kyler Murray and Derek Carr Headline QB Options

Plenty of good fantasy football teams will be without their starting quarterback this week -- who are the QB streamers you can trust in Week 10?

More than a few teams in your league are going to be looking for QB streamers in Week 10, so you’ll want to put in the work and make a decision you feel good about. We are in the second half of the fantasy football regular season in most leagues, making every week one that could determine your postseason fate.

Top QB Streamers for Week 10

Derek Carr, New Orleans Saints (at Vikings)

That’s now five straight games with multiple touchdown passes or 50 pass attempts — usage that is fantasy-relevant in any format. The Taysom Hill snaps under center are annoying and bring a floor into the equation that doesn’t exist for other QB streamers, but the floor that Alvin Kamara provides is equally as unique.

The blitz-happy Vikings are going to leave their corners on an island occasionally against Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed — Carr is going to have his chances at returning QB1 value in a weak week at the position. Can he come through?

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals (vs. Falcons)

Do we know what version of Murray we are getting if he plays this week? Not a clue, but I encourage you to try to rank the position this week and not get sucked in by the upside of an athlete like Murray against a high-pressure defense like the Falcons.

Murray has thrown for multiple touchdowns in each of his past three healthy games and averaged 41.5 rushing yards in his 10 healthy games last season. There’s obvious risk that comes with counting on Murray if he does in fact make his debut this weekend, but the upside is greater than those with a similar floor, and that makes him a chance worth taking for those who are desperate.

Josh Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings (vs. Saints)

Without so much as a chance to meet his teammates, Dobbs took over for Jaren Hall (concussion) and led the Vikings to a come-from-behind win over the Falcons (20 of 30 for 158 yards and two TDs). Now he gets a full work week with Justin Jefferson eligible to return from injured reserve?

Jefferson’s status isn’t clear at this point, but with Dobbs impressive in a major way (did I mention he led the team with 66 rushing yards and a score?), he’s a live option for those looking to replace a star on bye.

While in Arizona, Dobbs had not one, not two, but three top-10 fantasy performances through eight weeks. It’s not always pretty, but his versatile skill set is fantasy-friendly, and there’s simply no denying that.
