The list of set-it-and-forget-it options at the quarterback position in fantasy football seems to be getting smaller and smaller by the week.
That being said, let’s take a closer look at who some of my favorite start/sit options are at the QB position for Week 5.

Which QBs Should You Start in Fantasy This Week?
Other Start/Sit Position Analysis: RB | WR | TE
Jordan Love, Green Bay Packers
Love experienced his toughest game of the 2023 season against the Detroit Lions and still managed to produce 246 yards through the air and two total scores.
He should be in line for a bounce-back performance against a Las Vegas Raiders defense that has given up 10 total touchdowns to opposing quarterbacks through the first four games of the season.
Not to mention, a healthier version of Christian Watson and Aaron Jones should help this offense get closer to performing at its highest potential in a favorable matchup this week.
Which QBs Should You Sit in Fantasy This Week?
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Speaking of the Jacksonville Jaguars offense, Trevor Lawrence continues to post QB2-type numbers but has just one top-10 finish at the quarterback position this season.
The Buffalo Bills defense has been stingy against opposing quarterbacks this season and even managed to keep the high-powered Miami Dolphins passing offense mostly in check in Week 4.
With Lawrence continuing to post middle-of-the-road numbers heading into a tough matchup, it may be time to consider going another direction at QB for Week 5.

Should You Start C.J. Stroud or Joe Burrow?
Fantasy managers who had high hopes for Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow’s matchup against the Tennessee Titans came away greatly disappointed with his meager 4.7 fantasy points in Week 4.
Burrow has failed to score more than 10 fantasy points in three out of four games this season.
Now throw in the possibility that Burrow could be without wide receiver Tee Higgins in Week 5, and we have ourselves a real problem.
Burrow isn’t playing at 100 percent, and this suggestion isn’t a statement of who I think is the better football player … but I’m going with C.J. Stroud as my starting quarterback in fantasy football in Week 5.
Should You Start Lawrence or Love?
Speaking of slow starts, Lawrence has been one of the bigger fantasy disappointments to start the 2023 season. Sure, he hasn’t been awful by any stretch of the imagination, but his four touchdown passes to go with three turnovers through the first month of the season is a bit concerning.

On the flip side, Love has nine total touchdowns and should have two of his biggest weapons operating at close to 100 percent heading into their Week 5 matchup against the Raiders.
In what could be a tough matchup for Lawrence against the Bills, I’m going to roll with Love in my starting lineup in Week 5.
