Goedert TE Goedert secured both targets for 27 yards in the Eagles' 40-22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/dallas-goedert-12860 PHI 10hr ago
The talented tight end helped ignite the Eagles' first touchdown drive with a 20-yard reception on the second play of the possession, and he subsequently drew an unnecessary roughness penalty on the same drive when he took a hit to the head from the Chiefs' Trent McDuffie on a third-down incompletion. Goedert would go on to play a minor role the rest of the way, but by recording a second catch, he finished with multiple receptions in each of Philadelphia's four postseason victories. When healthy, Goedert was a key complementary target for Jalen Hurts once again during the regular season and postseason, but he's slated to head into the final year of his contract in 2025 unless an extension is reached or Philadelphia opts to exercise a potential out that would result in a dead cap hit of just over $11 million.
Analysis
Pacheco RB Pacheco took three carries for seven yards and brought in one of two targets for five yards in Sunday's 40-22 loss to the Eagles.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/isiah-pacheco-16104 KC 10hr ago
Pacheco was the first back deployed out of Kansas City's backfield in what turned out to be a blowout loss for the Chiefs. Recent starter Kareem Hunt wound up matching Pacheco in total touches, so the starting honors meant little in the one-sided affair. That said, his veteran counterpart is set to become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason while Pacheco still has one year left on his current four-year deal. The Chiefs could bolster its backfield this upcoming offseason, but Pacheco stands to be the favorite to start next year as we officially head into the 2025 offseason.
Analysis
Hunt RB Hunt took three carries for nine yards and brought in his only target for five yards in Sunday's 40-22 loss to Philadelphia in Super Bowl LIX.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/kareem-hunt-11739 KC 10hr ago
Isiah Pacheco technically drew the start against the Eagles, but both tailbacks finished with four touches apiece with neither doing much from a fantasy perspective. Hunt failed to extend his postseason touchdown streak to three games, resulting in a disappointing performance overall. The 29-year-old is slate to become an unrestricted free agent this upcoming offseason after rejuvenating his career in Kansas City in 2024.
Analysis
Worthy WR Worthy brought in all eight of his targets for 157 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 40-22 loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/xavier-worthy-17687 KC 11hr ago
Worthy ended up being the lone bright spot in terms of stat lines following Kansas City's crushing loss to Philadelphia. The 21-year-old finished with game highs in receptions, yardage and touchdowns scored for either side in what was an incredible individual performance. Worthy finished his first regular season in the pros with 742 combined yards from scrimmage and nine total touchdowns. His strong play in the playoffs only reinforced the youngster's bright future as a top offensive option for the Chiefs.
Analysis
Kelce TE Kelce corralled four of six targets for 39 yards in Sunday's 40-22 Super Bowl loss to the Eagles.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/travis-kelce-8783 KC 11hr ago
Kelce failed to stand out in the box score as Philadelphia keyed in its defensive focus on the future Hall of Famer. The 34-year-old appeared to have lost a step in 2024 after posting pedestrian numbers -- by his own gaudy standards -- in 16 regular-season contests (97-823-3). Still under contract through the 2026 season, Kelce will attempt to bounce back after experiencing declines in both yardage and touchdowns scored in consecutive seasons in his 12th year as a pro.
Analysis
Smith WR Smith brought in four of five targets for 69 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 40-22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/devonta-smith-15406 PHI 11hr ago
Smith had enjoyed his fair share of success against Steve Spagnuolo's Chiefs defenses in the previous two meetings, including the Eagles' narrow Super Bowl LVII loss to Kansas City two years prior when he'd recorded seven receptions for 100 yards. Therefore, Smith's team-leading yardage total Sunday wasn't exactly a surprise, and he got to that number with a back-breaking 46-yard touchdown grab on a perfectly thrown ball by Jalen Hurts late in the third quarter. Smith was particularly consistent down the stretch of the regular season and throughout the postseason, posting a combined 39-470-4 line on 44 targets from Week 15 on. Smith enters the second season of a $75 million extension in 2025, so he'll once again project as a key component of the offense as the Eagles look to win back-to-back titles.
Analysis
Mahomes QB Mahomes completed 21 of 32 pass attempts for 257 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions while taking four rushing attempts for 25 yards and a lost fumble in Sunday's 40-22 loss to the Eagles in Super Bowl LIX.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/patrick-mahomes-11839 KC 11hr ago
Mahomes was stifled for nearly three quarters in Super Bowl LIX before completing the first of three garbage-time touchdowns with 34 seconds remaining in the third quarter of Sunday's one-sided affair. The 28-year-old superstar saw his hopes of a potential third consecutive Super Bowl title erode away with each ensuing unsuccessful offensive drive against a ferocious unit led by defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Mahomes saw a decline in total production in 2024 despite earning the top seed in the AFC, but he maintained a respectable 2.4 TD:INT in 16 starts in the regular season. The Chiefs will look to regroup following a disappointing showing on the national stage and bring in more talent to surround Mahomes for the upcoming 2025 campaign.
Analysis
Brown WR Brown secured three of five targets for 43 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 40- 22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/aj-brown-13432 PHI 11hr ago
Brown saw a 32-yard reception on the Eagles' first drive wiped out by an offensive pass interference penalty against him, but the talented wideout would go on to make up for it with a 22-yard reception on third down early in the second quarter and a 12-yard touchdown grab later in the period. Brown finished second in catches and tied for second in targets with fellow wideout DeVonta Smith on the night, and after mustering just a 3-24 line during the Eagles' first two playoff games, Brown amassed a combined nine catches for 139 yards and two touchdowns on 13 targets during the NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl.
Analysis
Barkley RB Barkley rushed 25 times for 57 yards and brought in six of seven targets for 40 yards in the Eagles' 40-22 win over the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on Sunday.
https://www.rotowire.com/football/player/saquon-barkley-12507 PHI 11hr ago
Playing in his first Super Bowl on his 28th birthday, Barkley filled his usual workhorse role and finished with unremarkable numbers on the ground. However, the prized offseason acquisition grinded out some tough yards throughout the night to help keep the clock running, and he was a key outlet receiver for Jalen Hurts on multiple occasions while posting a team-high number of receptions that also served as his most in an Eagles uniform yet. The reigning Offensive Player of the Year also broke Terrell Davis' 26-year-old record for most combined rushing yards in a regular season and postseason, edging the former Bronco's mark of 2,476 yards by finishing with 2,490. Barkley also became the ninth player to rush for 2,000 yards in the regular season during his first campaign with Philadelphia, and despite his relatively nondescript night Sunday, there's no question his addition was key to the second Super Bowl win in franchise history.
