Nothing can derail a potentially successful fantasy football season quicker than injuries. That’s especially true at the ever-so-critical wide receiver position, where elite-level players can make or break a contending fantasy team. As we head into Week 15 and the start of the playoffs, several WRs find themselves on the injury report for their respective teams. Thus, fantasy managers need to pay close attention to any WR injury updates and reports as NFL kickoffs draw near.

In the middle of what has seemed like a brutal season full of injuries, these are the fantasy-relevant WRs in the AFC currently on the NFL’s Week 15 injury report. With some players trending in the wrong direction, fantasy managers might need to consider secondary options.
Marquise Brown, Baltimore Ravens

Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns

Furthermore, the NFL announced on Friday the Raiders and Browns game will not occur on Saturday, December 18 — it’s on Monday night (December 20) at 5:00 PM ET. The hope is players will have time to return from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Marquise Goodwin (foot) was absent from Friday’s practice ahead of the Bears’ Monday Night Football matchup with the Vikings.
The Bears also announced they’ve placed Allen Robinson on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Indeed, he was one of six Chicago players to land on the list Thursday.

Per the Lions’ practice report, Josh Reynolds was limited at Friday’s practice due to a thigh issue. Reynolds was not listed on the report Wednesday and is listed as questionable for Sunday.

Odell Beckham Jr., Los Angeles Rams
Per the Rams’ official site, Odell Beckahm Jr. was activated off the COVID-19/reserve list on Saturday. Beckham was placed on the reserve list on Tuesday but the NFL choosing to delay their game until Tuesday at 7 PM ET has given Beckham time to clear protocols.
Adam Thielen and Dede Westbrook, Minnesota Vikings

Thielen suffered an ankle injury on December 5 and seems like a long shot to play in Week 15. Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks
ESPN’s Brady Henderson reported that Seattle placed Tyler Lockett on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday following a positive test. Due to the rash of COVID-19 cases in the Rams’ facility, the NFL has moved the game to Tuesday at 7 PM ET. This also gives Lockett a better chance to make his return if he can pass NFL protocols.
Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team
Per Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post, head coach Ron Rivera said Friday that he’s very optimistic Terry McLaurin will pass NFL concussion protocols in time for their Week 15 game, which has been rescheduled to Tuesday at 7 PM ET due to COVID-19 cases sweeping through the Washington roster.
Curtis Samuel, Washington Football Team
Keim also reports Curtis Samuel was on the sidelines for Thursday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. Samuel has been dealing with a groin injury he picked up in June but has managed to play the past three games on a very limited basis. It appears as if Washington is trying to nurse Samuel through the remainder of the season.
Per the Washington practice report, Samuel did not participate in Friday’s practice and has yet to return to the field this week. Nonetheless, he will have extra time to prepare as the NFL rescheduled the Washington and Philadelphia game for Thursday at 7 PM ET.
