Nothing can derail a potentially successful fantasy football season quicker than injuries. That’s especially true at the ever-so-critical wide receiver position, where elite-level players can make or break a contending fantasy team. As we head into Week 8, several WRs find themselves on the injury report for their respective teams. Therefore, fantasy managers need to pay close attention to any WR injury updates and reports as NFL kickoffs draw near.

Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 8 | AFC
After a seemingly brutal week full of injuries, these are the fantasy-relevant WRs in the AFC currently on the NFL’s Week 8 injury report.
Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns
Jake Trotter of ESPN reports Odell Beckham Jr. (shoulder) will be questionable for Sunday’s game against the Steelers. Beckham Jr. has been a limited participant in practice all three days this week. As a result, he’s expected to suit up and play on Sunday, assuming he feels fine in pregame warmups. We will have a definitive answer 90 minutes before game time when inactives are posted.
Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns
Per the team’s practice report, Jarvis Landry (knee) was a limited participant during practice this week but was removed from the injury report. He will not carry an injury designation into Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Donovan Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns
Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Donovan Peoples-Jones is out ahead of the Browns game in Week 8. Peoples-Jones suffered a groin injury during pregame warmups ahead of the Browns’ Week 7 matchup with the Broncos and will miss his second game.
Jerry Jeudy, Denver Broncos
Aric DiLalla of the Broncos’ official site reports Jerry Jeudy (ankle) didn’t practice Friday due to some soreness, and coach Vic Fangio said “we’ll see” whether the wideout is activated for Sunday’s game against Washington. It seemed it was a foregone conclusion Jeudy would play, but this recent news is slightly concerning. There is still optimism he will play against Washington in Week 8 after being designated to return from injured reserve last week. This is leaning more and more toward a game-time decision.
T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports that T.Y. Hilton (quad) will be questionable for Sunday’s game against the Titans. Head coach Frank Reich indicated that Hilton looked good at practice Friday but will be a game-time decision for Week 8 after missing last week’s game.
DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
According to Adam Beasley of Pro Football Network, DeVante Parker was a limited participant in practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Week 8. Parker has missed three consecutive games due to shoulder and hamstring injuries and will be a game-time decision for Week 8. Beasley has noted the Dolphins expect Parker to return this weekend.
Kendrick Bourne, New England Patriots
Per the team’s official practice report, Kendrick Bourne (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Chargers after practicing in a limited fashion this week. Bourne is expected to be available. Nonetheless, we will not have the final word until the inactive list is announced 90 minutes before LA’s 4:05 PM ET kickoff.
Corey Davis, New York Jets
Jay Morrison of The Athletic reports Corey Davis (hip) is doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Bengals.
Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans
Terry McCormick of TitanInsider.com reports Julio Jones is out for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Jones was unable to practice this week due to his hamstring injury and will miss his third game of the season.
Fantasy WR Injury Report Week 8 | NFC
Which NFC wide receivers currently sit on the injury report ahead of Week 8?
Terrace Marshall, Carolina Panthers
Joe Person of The Athletic reports Terrace Marshall won’t play Sunday against the Falcons. Marshall was able to practice and will be sidelined for a second consecutive game due to a concussion he sustained in Week 6.
Michael Gallup, Dallas Cowboys
According to Jon Machota of The Athletic, Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said Friday that Gallup (calf) has been moving well in practice and is “right around the corner.” However, he’s likely a week away from making his return to the team. Gallup has been on IR since Week 1, but the Cowboys designated him to return on Monday [October 25], which opened a 21-day window for the WR to return to the team.
DeSean Jackson, Los Angeles Rams
Per Lindsey Thiry of ESPN, DeSean Jackson will miss Week 8. Head coach Sean McVay stated Jackson would be held out while the Rams pursue a trade ahead of the November 2 trade deadline. Jackson presumably wants more playing time after taking just 4 snaps in LA’s Week 7 win over Detroit. Thiry also reported McVay isn’t sure if Jackson will be open to staying with the Rams if he can’t find a trade and that he’d have “more information on that moving forward.”
Deonte Harris, New Orleans Saints
Greg Auman of The Athletic reports Deonte Harris (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday’s game against Tampa Bay. Harris missed practice Wednesday but was able to log limited sessions Thursday and Friday.
Kenny Golladay, New York Giants
Jordan Raanan of ESPN reports that Kenny Golladay (knee) didn’t practice Friday. Golladay is likely to miss his third straight game against Kansas City.
Sterling Shepard, New York Giants
Dan Salomone of the Giants’ official site reports Sterling Shepard remained limited in practice Friday. Shepard has already missed three games due to this hamstring injury. However, he does have an extra day to shed his questionable tag as the team plays on Monday night.
Kadarius Toney, New York Giants
Salomone also reported Kadarius Toney (ankle) was a limited participant in his return to practice Friday. This was Toney’s first practice since reaggravating his ankle in Week 6, and he’s likely to miss the game.
Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians said Wednesday that he isn’t sure how long Antonio Brown (ankle) will be out. The WR is dealing with a sprain near his heel. Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports Brown is out for Week 8. The Buccaneers have a bye in Week 9, affording them an extra week to monitor Brown’s health.
