The Top WRs To Start in Week 13

    Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

Jaylen Waddle posted his second game within the last four with over 100 yards receiving. And it came against one of the stingiest secondary units in the league, the New York Jets, on Black Friday.

The Washington Commanders’ secondary has had issues all season long slowing down opposing passing games. Sure, Tyreek Hill will continue to get his numbers, but Waddle should be able to generate a handful of big plays against this struggling defensive unit that is giving up an average of 35.5 fantasy points per game to opposing wideouts.

    Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers

Do you know which team is giving up more fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers than the Commanders this season? The Philadelphia Eagles.

Despite an abundance of talent on the defensive side of the football, the Eagles are giving up an average of 37.7 fantasy points to opposing wideouts, which has seen them consistently struggle to slow down players operating out of the slot.

Deebo Samuel is a satellite player and gets moved all over the formation in various ways in an explosive San Francisco offense. Expect him to give this Eagles secondary plenty of issues in Week 13.

    Jameson Williams, Detroit Lions

Speaking of receivers with a lack of volume in the passing game, Detroit Lions WR Jameson Williams has been a boom-or-bust option for fantasy managers since his return from suspension.

He hasn’t seen more than three targets in his last four games and still hasn’t fully shaken his case of the dropsies, but his average of 29.1 air yards per reception certainly speaks to his vertical presence in the Lions’ passing attack.

If CB Marshon Lattimore can get back on the field for the New Orleans Saints in Week 13, then I imagine he will aim to shadow Amon-Ra St. Brown, which could present Williams with an extra couple of looks in the passing game this week.
