Fantasy Football Updated TE Dynasty Rankings Week 8: Where Do Sam LaPorta, Dalton Kincaid, and Trey McBride Land?

What do the TE dynasty rankings look like going into an action-packed Week 8? How should you value young players like Dalton Kincaid and Sam LaPorta?

Redraft fantasy football is all about constant shifting and movement as players’ stocks rise and fall week after week. It’s a weekly game, and there’s always major movement within rankings, but dynasty doesn’t follow the same rules.

Dynasty fantasy football — which allows you to have the same roster year after year — is much more methodical and slow-moving because it has a larger picture in mind. However, there can still be movement throughout the season, and players’ stocks can shift drastically after a string of bad or good performances.

With that in mind, here are my updated TE dynasty fantasy football rankings going into Week 8.

Dynasty Stock Watch After Week 7

    Dalton Kincaid, TE, Buffalo Bills

Dynasty managers drafted Dalton Kincaid in the first round of their dynasty rookie drafts in hopes that he would be an instant contributor as they sought to bring home a championship this season.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t exactly been the case so far, as Kincaid had just one game with more than 30 receiving yards until last week. However, it seems like we might be in line to see him begin to emerge here after a solid performance in Week 7.

Kincaid reeled in all eight of his targets for 75 yards, which is an encouraging sign after a slow start to the year. Additionally, Dawson Knox is set to miss some time with a wrist injury that will now make Kincaid the de facto TE1 for Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.

Can he take advantage of this opportunity? We’ll have to wait and see, but Kincaid’s stock is poised to skyrocket here if he can have a breakout performance in Week 8 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
