The season-ending injury to Minnesota Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson makes the exact value of an elite fantasy TE a bit more unclear as we enter the final two games of the 2023 NFL season.
With that in mind, here are my updated dynasty fantasy football TE rankings to help guide you as we head into Week 17 of the 2023 NFL season.

Dynasty TE Risers After Week 16
Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys
One could make an argument that Jake Ferguson is positioned perfectly to be a top-10 option at the TE position in fantasy formats for the next couple of seasons.
He gets consistent work in a productive passing offense.

He has proven to have one of the healthiest weekly target shares at the position over the last month by seeing a minimum of eight targets in four straight games.
CeeDee Lamb may be the unquestioned alpha in this passing attack, but Ferguson’s role as the No. 2 target has made him a reliable fantasy option at one of the most volatile positions in all of fantasy football.
David Njoku, Cleveland Browns
When you consider the Cleveland Browns have started four different quarterbacks this season, it’s astounding that David Njoku has pieced together a career year with 115 targets, 75 receptions, 748 yards, and six scores.
Oddly enough, Njoku has been more productive this year when Deshaun Watson has been out of the lineup. Assuming Watson returns as the starter under center next season, I wouldn’t say that will hurt Njoku’s outlook heading into 2024.
He has finally started living up to the fantasy potential many projected for him when he came into the league back in 2017. Njoku is firmly in the conversation as a top-10 dynasty asset for fantasy managers heading into the 2024 season.
