Dynasty RB Risers After Week 17

    Travis Etienne Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

Once upon a time, many fantasy football managers felt Travis Etienne Jr. was potentially going to split a significant amount of work with rookie RB Tank Bigsby after an up-and-down 2022 campaign.

For an update on that scenario heading into the final regular-season game of the year, Bigsby has just 122 total yards and two scores on 48 total touches (RB87 in fantasy) while Etienne has 1,397 total yards and 12 TDs on 304 total touches (RB2).

Etienne has definitively answered any questions about his capabilities as a lead back in the NFL and should be in a great position to lead the way for the Jags’ rushing attack heading into 2024.

    De’Von Achane, Miami Dolphins

Fantasy football managers finally got a small glimpse of what life could look like for De’Von Achane as the leading man in a high-powered Miami Dolphins offense without having to contend with Raheem Mostert.

The results were fantastic. Achane’s 137 total yards and a score on 18 total touches against a formidable Baltimore Ravens defense proved he can be an RB1 for an NFL offense.

Sure, the durability concerns remain, but a performance like this could convince this coaching staff that Achane should be their guy moving forward. If that’s the case, then he has a strong argument for being much higher on this list.
