Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
At this point, Christian Watson is going to start needing to pay rent for all the time he spends living in the end zone. He is on a scoring streak that we have not really seen this year and is somewhat reminiscent of Amon-Ra St. Brown’s run last year, as Watson has eight touchdowns in his last four games.

Volume is a different story. He has six targets in three of his last four games and either has 48 yards (Weeks 11 and 13) or 100+ yards (107 in Week 10 and 110 in Week 12). But who cares so long as this scoring keeps up? Watson has finished as the WR3, WR8, WR10, and WR3 in the process.
The Green Bay Packers have a bye this week, so managers will need another option to close out the regular season. But if you picked up Watson or stashed him, he’s paying off tenfold. He is a low-end WR2 in the rest-of-season fantasy football rankings.
Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets
Rookie wide receivers continue to be a cheat code in fantasy football. If you have the patience, they can be massive additions at the lowest they’ll ever be ranked. That’s the case for Garrett Wilson, who is thriving with Mike White after having a slower run earlier in the year.
After a WR16 and WR11 finish before his bye week, Wilson hit rock-bottom in Week 11, finishing as the WR78 with 12 yards against the New England Patriots. Since then, he has been unstoppable. Wilson was the WR5 in Week 12 with 95 yards and two scores on five of eight receiving and followed it up last week against the Minnesota Vikings with eight receptions on 15 targets for 162 yards as the WR9 in PPR.
His after-the-catch abilities have been a huge part of his success, and I don’t see this slowing down. While this week’s matchup with the Buffalo Bills is difficult, they’ve allowed the 13th-most points to perimeter receivers since Week 7. After that, the New York Jets face the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Seattle Seahawks for your fantasy football playoffs.
Wilson could very well be one of the highest-rostered players on championship-winning rosters. He is a set-it-and-forget-it high-end WR2 for the remainder of the season.
Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens
If you have been riding Lamar Jackson this year, I am sorry. Especially if your playoff hopes hang on getting a win in Week 14. On Sunday, Jackson suffered a PCL strain that has him listed as “week-to-week,” according to Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
While not official, Jackson is expected to miss Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as this injury can take between one to three weeks to heal. In his place, Tyler Huntley takes over at QB in a similar story to last year, when Huntley finished the season as the Ravens’ QB while Jackson was out.

I expect to see Huntley hyper-target Mark Andrews as he did last season when the former All-Pro TE averaged 23.3 PPR and 105.7 yards (10.25 targets) in his games with Huntley compared to the 16.28 PPR and 71.08 yards with Jackson.
By no means should you drop Jackson, as he will be back into the QB1 range when he returns. However, he’ll have slightly lower value than normal due to a likely reduced rushing rate in his first game back. If you need a QB for this week or insurance at the position, I would feel comfortable grabbing Huntley, who has proven to be a solid player in this scheme.
