Week 13 Fantasy Football RB Injury Report | AFC

The AFC is no stranger to RB injuries, but fortunately, this week is relatively light. In fact, all of the injured running backs currently reside in the NFC.

Week 13 Fantasy Football RB Injury Update | NFC

Which NFC running backs are dealing with injuries that may affect their game status in Week 13? What’s going on with the Saints backfield?

    Dalvin Cook, Minnesota Vikings

The latest on Dalvin Cook is he’s expected to miss at least the next two games with a dislocated shoulder and possibly a torn labrum. We’ve been getting conflicting reports from reporters and head coach Mike Zimmer.

Regardless, Cook is out this week. Alexander Mattison is an RB1.

    Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys

So much for those rumors of Ezekiel Elliott resting his knee. Elliott will reportedly handle a full workload on Thursday.

    Darrell Henderson, Los Angeles Rams

Darrell Henderson is dealing with a minor quad strain. While head coach Sean McVay does not expect to keep Henderson out of this week’s game, that doesn’t mean he won’t. Sony Michel is the next man up.

Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram, New Orleans Saints

Alvin Kamara remained limited at Tuesday’s practice due to his sprained MCL. Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.football indicated Kamara’s status for Thursday Night Football remains up in the air.

Mark Ingram practiced fully and stated he is healthy and ready to go.

    J.D. McKissic, Washington Football Team

J.D. McKissic hit his head on a defender’s knee late in the fourth quarter of Monday night’s game against the Seahawks. He was down for a while before being carted off. His agent tweeted out after the game that McKissic is “all good.” I’m not sure what that actually means, but at the very least, it sounds like McKissic avoided serious injury.

    Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles

Miles Sanders tweaked his ankle last week. We won’t have an idea on his status for Sunday’s game until Wednesday’s practice.

    D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions

D’Andre Swift is dealing with a shoulder injury. He remains day to day, but he is not going to play in Week 13. Hopefully, it’s a short absence for Swift. Jamaal Williams will start in Swift’s absence.

Update: According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Swift is going to miss multiple weeks. Swift wants to return as soon as he can, but the team intends to be cautious with him amidst a lost season.
