Fantasy Football Injury Report: QB update

The quarterbacks are getting healthier, which is a good thing for fantasy managers.

    Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys

Dak Prescott was limited in yesterday’s practice, but all the voices in the Dallas organization are saying that they’re preparing for him to play on Sunday.

    Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice with pectoral and hip injuries. Coming out of the bye week, it sounds like he’s good to go for Sunday.

    Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns

Baker Mayfield is dealing with the shoulder injury that caused him to miss last week’s game. While taking starter reps, Mayfield was a limited participant in practice and is trending towards playing.

Fantasy Football Injury Report: RB update

There are some key running backs on the injury report. Let’s take a look at their prognosis for being on the field this week.

    Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles

Miles Sanders is dealing with an ankle injury that has him week-to-week. He’s slated to miss Week 8 against the Detroit Lions.

    D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions

D’Andre Swift is listed as questionable, but he’s been listed as questionable on a weekly basis now. There’s no concern about him missing this week.

    Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts

Dealing with a rib injury, Jonathan Taylor is listed as questionable and was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. It looks as though he’ll be ready for Sunday.

    Nyheim Hines, Indianapolis Colts

Nyheim Hines was also a limited participant for the Colts with a rib injury (ironic), but there’s nothing to suggest either Colts RB will miss the game.

    Chris Evans, Cincinnati Bengals

Chris Evans did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He is very much questionable for Sunday.

    Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns

Nick Chubb is on his way back from missing two games to a calf injury. He’ll test the injury in practice this week, telling reporters that he hopes to be back for Sunday.

    Antonio Gibson, Washington Football Team

Antonio Gibson is playing through a fracture in his shin, which sounds awful. At this point, he’s trending towards fighting through it yet again.

WR Injury Update for Week 8

How are the pass catchers fairing as we prepare for the weekend?

    DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles

DeVonta Smith popped up on the injury report as having missed practice with a headache. He should be good to go for Sunday.

    DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins

DeVante Parker was limited in Wednesday’s practice with shoulder and hamstring injuries, but he’s trending towards playing.

    Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans

Julio Jones seems to permanently have a hamstring injury. After originally being listed as questionable, it’s been reported that he will be out for Sunday’s game.

    T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts

T.Y. Hilton missed Wednesday’s practice with a quad injury. His situation is one to monitor as we get closer to Sunday.

    Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers

Chase Claypool was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hamstring injury but should suit up on Sunday.

    Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns

Jarvis Landry did not practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that he could be back later this week, so he very well could play on Sunday.

    Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns

Odell Beckham Jr. is dealing with a shoulder injury, but he’s practicing through it. It looks like he’ll play.

    Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers

Terrace Marshall Jr. is still being held out of practice with a concussion. At this point, it doesn’t look promising that the rookie will suit up this weekend.

    Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Antonio Brown missed practice and was spotted with a crutch. With the Buccaneers having a Week 9 bye, it looks as though he will be targeting a Week 10 return.

    Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team

Terry McLaurin did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He’s been nursing this injury for several weeks, so this could be a rest day for him. He’s one to monitor as the weekend approaches.

    Curtis Samuel, Washington Football Team

Curtis Samuel still has yet to practice this week with a groin injury that has him labeled as “week-to-week.” At this point, it looks as though he’s trending towards not playing.

    Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings

Adam Thielen was listed on the injury report with a foot injury but was a full participant in practice. Consider him good to go.

TE Injury Update for Week 8

There are a few tight end injuries worth monitoring as we prepare for Week 8.

    T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions

T.J. Hockenson was limited in practice with knee and ankle injuries, but he’s been playing through it. Thus, there’s nothing to suggest he’s missing Week 8.

    Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills

Dawson Knox broke his hand and is expected to miss the next three weeks.

    O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

O.J. Howard was a limited participant in practice with an ankle injury. It looks as though he’ll be ready for Sunday.

    Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Football Team

Ricky Seals-Jones was limited with a quad injury, but it looks as though he’s slated to play this weekend.
