Injuries, like Thanos, are inevitable. That team you drafted back in August probably looks like a shell of itself at this point, given the number of injuries that have taken place across the league. Here’s a look at today’s injury report and what the laundry list of injuries could mean for fantasy football managers going forward.

Fantasy Football Injury Report: QB update
The quarterbacks are getting healthier, which is a good thing for fantasy managers.
Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys
Dak Prescott was limited in yesterday’s practice, but all the voices in the Dallas organization are saying that they’re preparing for him to play on Sunday.
Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers
Ben Roethlisberger was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice with pectoral and hip injuries. Coming out of the bye week, it sounds like he’s good to go for Sunday.
Baker Mayfield, Cleveland Browns
Baker Mayfield is dealing with the shoulder injury that caused him to miss last week’s game. While taking starter reps, Mayfield was a limited participant in practice and is trending towards playing.
Fantasy Football Injury Report: RB update
There are some key running backs on the injury report. Let’s take a look at their prognosis for being on the field this week.
Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles
Miles Sanders is dealing with an ankle injury that has him week-to-week. He’s slated to miss Week 8 against the Detroit Lions.
D’Andre Swift, Detroit Lions
D’Andre Swift is listed as questionable, but he’s been listed as questionable on a weekly basis now. There’s no concern about him missing this week.
Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts
Dealing with a rib injury, Jonathan Taylor is listed as questionable and was a limited participant in Wednesday’s practice. It looks as though he’ll be ready for Sunday.
Nyheim Hines, Indianapolis Colts
Nyheim Hines was also a limited participant for the Colts with a rib injury (ironic), but there’s nothing to suggest either Colts RB will miss the game.
Chris Evans, Cincinnati Bengals
Chris Evans did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He is very much questionable for Sunday.
Nick Chubb, Cleveland Browns
Nick Chubb is on his way back from missing two games to a calf injury. He’ll test the injury in practice this week, telling reporters that he hopes to be back for Sunday.
Antonio Gibson, Washington Football Team
Antonio Gibson is playing through a fracture in his shin, which sounds awful. At this point, he’s trending towards fighting through it yet again.
WR Injury Update for Week 8
How are the pass catchers fairing as we prepare for the weekend?
DeVonta Smith, Philadelphia Eagles
DeVonta Smith popped up on the injury report as having missed practice with a headache. He should be good to go for Sunday.
DeVante Parker, Miami Dolphins
DeVante Parker was limited in Wednesday’s practice with shoulder and hamstring injuries, but he’s trending towards playing.
Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans
Julio Jones seems to permanently have a hamstring injury. After originally being listed as questionable, it’s been reported that he will be out for Sunday’s game.
T.Y. Hilton, Indianapolis Colts
T.Y. Hilton missed Wednesday’s practice with a quad injury. His situation is one to monitor as we get closer to Sunday.
Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers
Chase Claypool was limited in Wednesday’s practice with a hamstring injury but should suit up on Sunday.
Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns
Jarvis Landry did not practice on Wednesday with a knee injury. Head coach Kevin Stefanski indicated that he could be back later this week, so he very well could play on Sunday.
Odell Beckham Jr., Cleveland Browns
Odell Beckham Jr. is dealing with a shoulder injury, but he’s practicing through it. It looks like he’ll play.
Terrace Marshall Jr., Carolina Panthers
Terrace Marshall Jr. is still being held out of practice with a concussion. At this point, it doesn’t look promising that the rookie will suit up this weekend.
Antonio Brown, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Antonio Brown missed practice and was spotted with a crutch. With the Buccaneers having a Week 9 bye, it looks as though he will be targeting a Week 10 return.
Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team
Terry McLaurin did not practice on Wednesday with a hamstring injury. He’s been nursing this injury for several weeks, so this could be a rest day for him. He’s one to monitor as the weekend approaches.
Curtis Samuel, Washington Football Team
Curtis Samuel still has yet to practice this week with a groin injury that has him labeled as “week-to-week.” At this point, it looks as though he’s trending towards not playing.
Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings
Adam Thielen was listed on the injury report with a foot injury but was a full participant in practice. Consider him good to go.
TE Injury Update for Week 8
There are a few tight end injuries worth monitoring as we prepare for Week 8.
T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions
T.J. Hockenson was limited in practice with knee and ankle injuries, but he’s been playing through it. Thus, there’s nothing to suggest he’s missing Week 8.
Dawson Knox, Buffalo Bills
Dawson Knox broke his hand and is expected to miss the next three weeks.
O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
O.J. Howard was a limited participant in practice with an ankle injury. It looks as though he’ll be ready for Sunday.
Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Rob Gronkowski has been out for four weeks with rib and lung injuries, but it’s been reported that he will play Sunday vs. the New Orleans Saints.
Ricky Seals-Jones, Washington Football Team
Ricky Seals-Jones was limited with a quad injury, but it looks as though he’s slated to play this weekend.
