    Fantasy Football Injury Report: WR Injury Update

    News for pass catchers is essential in PPR leagues. These are the fantasy-relevant WRs currently on the NFL’s Week 15 injury report.

    DeAndre Hopkins, Arizona Cardinals

    Josina Anderson of CBS Sports reports the Cardinals are bracing for the possibility of DeAndre Hopkins (knee) missing 2-4 months once he undergoes surgery Friday in Los Angeles to address a torn MCL.

    Marquise Brown and Tylan Wallace, Baltimore Ravens

    Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports Marquise Brown missed Thursday’s practice due to an illness. He was a full participant Wednesday, making his mid-week absence something that fantasy managers need to monitor.

    Meanwhile, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports Tylan Wallace (concussion) practiced fully on Thursday. Wallace had been a DNP Wednesday after suffering a concussion in Week 14 against the Browns.

    Emmanuel Sanders, Buffalo Bills

    Per the Buffalo Bills’ practice report, Emmanuel Sanders (knee) missed practice for the second straight day Thursday and is listed as doubtful.

    DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers

    The Panthers report that DJ Moore (hamstring) was a limited participant on Thursday. On Monday, head coach Matt Rhule said he considered Moore day to day after he picked up a hamstring issue near the end of this past Sunday’s loss to the Falcons.

    Marquise Goodwin and Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears

    Marquise Goodwin (foot) was absent from Thursday’s walkthrough ahead of the Bears’ Monday Night Football matchup with the Vikings. Per the Chicago Bears’ official site, Allen Robinson was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list. He was one of six Chicago players to land on the list Thursday.

    Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns

    Kimberley A. Martin and Adam Schefter report that Jarvis Landry was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after he tested positive for the virus.

    Cedrick Wilson, Dallas Cowboys

    Jon Machota of The Athletic reports that the Cowboys placed Cedrick Wilson on the reserve/COVID-19 list Monday following a positive test.

    Josh Reynolds, Detroit Lions

    Per the Lions’ practice report, Josh Reynolds was limited at Thursday’s practice due to a thigh issue. Reynolds was not listed on the report Wednesday, making this a surprise addition.

    Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

    Per the Packers’ practice report, Marquez Valdes-Scantling (back) was a limited participant Thursday. He was also listed as an LP during the team’s estimated injury report.

    Josh Gordon, Kansas City Chiefs

    On Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reported that Josh Gordon was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He was not activated for the Chiefs’ Week 15 Thursday Night Football game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

    Odell Beckham Jr., Los Angeles Rams

    Josina Anderson of USA Today reports Odell Beckham Jr. was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after testing positive.

    Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins

    Per the Miami Dolphins’ official site, Jaylen Waddle was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday.

    Adam Thielen and Dede Westbrook, Minnesota Vikings

    The St. Paul Pioneer Press’ Tomasson reports Adam Thielen (ankle) did not participate in Thursday’s practice. Thielen suffered an ankle injury on December 5 and seems a longshot to play in Week 15. Furthermore, Courtney Cronin of ESPN reports Dede Westbrook was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list Tuesday.

    Lil’Jordan Humphrey, New Orleans Saints

    Per the Saints’ practice report, Lil’Jordan Humphrey (hamstring) was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice. Humphrey missed Week 14 and has recorded back-to-back limited sessions.

    John Ross and Kadarius Toney, New York Giants

    Giants head coach Joe Judge said Wednesday that John Ross tested positive and will be placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. In addition, Pelissero reports that Kadarius Toney (oblique) was also placed on the reserve list Monday following a positive test.

    DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett, Seattle Seahawks

    The Seahawks report that DK Metcalf (foot/back) was held out of Thursday’s practice. Metcalf has been nursing a foot injury as the team limits his workload over recent weeks. ESPN’s Henderson adds that Tyler Lockett was placed on the reserve list Thursday following a positive test.

    Freddie Swain, Seattle Seahawks

    Boyle also reported on Thursday that Freddie Swain (ankle/personal) was a non-participant at Thursday’s practice. Swain sat out Wednesday due to his ankle but was listed Thursday due to a personal issue.

    Terry McLaurin, Washington Football Team

    John Keim of ESPN reports Terry McLaurin was a limited participant Thursday as he continues to work back from a concussion he sustained in Week 14. He is in the NFL’s concussion protocol and will need to be cleared by an independent neurologist before he can play Sunday.

    Curtis Samuel and Cam Sims, Washington Football Team

    Keim also reports Curtis Samuel was sidelined for Thursday’s practice due to a hamstring injury. Samuel has been dealing with a groin injury he picked up in June but has managed to play the past three games on a very limited basis. It appears as if Washington is trying to nurse Samuel through the remainder of the season.

    Field Yates of ESPN reports Cam Sims was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday.

    Fantasy Football Injury Report: TE update

    Nick Boyle, Baltimore Ravens

    ESPN’s Demovsky reports Nick Boyle (knee) was downgraded to a non-participant Thursday after recording a limited session the day before. Boyle made his season debut Week 11 after dealing with a chronic knee issue, which then forced him to sit out the past two games.

    Jimmy Graham, Jesse James, and Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears

    Per the Bears’ practice report, Jimmy Graham (knee) was listed as limited on Thursday’s practice report. The Bears play on Monday Night Football, giving Graham an extra day to get ready for Week 15. TE Jesse James, meanwhile, has been added to the reserve/COVID-19 list.

    Harrison Bryant, Cleveland Browns

    Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports Harrison Bryant (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game against the Raiders. Bryant has not suited up since Week 12.

    T.J. Hockenson, Detroit Lions

    ESPN’s Schefter reports T.J. Hockenson underwent season-ending surgery on his left thumb Thursday. Last week, Hockenson was spotted in practice with a significant wrap on his hand and eventually was ruled out of Week 14.

    Pharaoh Brown and Brevin Jordan, Houston Texans

    Per the Texans’ practice report, Pharaoh Brown was a non-participant Thursday. Brevin Jordan, however, was limited for the second-straight day on Thursday with a hand injury.

    Donald Parham Jr., Los Angeles Chargers

    Per the Los Angeles Chargers’ PR team, Donald Parham Jr. was admitted to the UCLA Harbor Medical Center and is undergoing tests, imaging, and evaluation for a head injury. He’s currently in stable condition after sustaining a head injury in the first quarter of Thursday Night Football. Parham’s head hit the ground hard when trying to make a catch, and he was unconscious. He was then taken off the field on a stretcher.

    Brycen Hopkins, Los Angeles Rams

    Per the Ramss’ official site, Brycen Hopkins was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday after testing positive for the virus.

    Hunter Long and Adam Shaheen, Miami Dolphins

    Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN reports Hunter Long was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Wednesday. Louis-Jacques also reports Adam Shaheen (knee) was a limited participant for the second straight day Thursday.

    Adam Trautman, New Orleans Saints

    Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football reports the New Orleans Saints designated Adam Trautman (knee) for return from IR Wednesday. Trautman landed on IR after he suffered an MCL sprain during a Week 11 loss to the Eagles. The Saints have a 21-day window to activate him to the 53-man roster.

    George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers

    Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports George Kittle (knee) was a limited participant for the 49ers’ practice on Thursday. Kittle sat out Wednesday due to a sore knee but is expected to play on Sunday.

    Logan Thomas, Washington Football Team

    On Tuesday, ESPN’s Keim reported that further testing revealed Logan Thomas did tear his ACL in Week 13. That was Washington’s initial fear, but early rounds of testing and imaging gave off the impression Thomas avoided serious injury.

    Nevertheless, he had already been placed on season-ending IR. Thomas hopes to return in 2022, but given the timing, he may not be back to full strength by the start of the season.
