    Fantasy Football Injury Report: WR Injury Update

    News for pass catchers is essential in PPR leagues. These are the fantasy-relevant WRs currently on the NFL’s Week 16 injury report.

    Rondale Moore, Arizona Cardinals

    The Cardinals’ official site reports Rondale Moore (ankle) is questionable for Sunday’s game against the Colts. Likewise, head coach Kliff Kingsbury calls Moore a game-day decision.

    Devin Duvernay and Sammy Watkins, Baltimore Ravens

    Jamison Hensley of ESPN reports Devin Duvernay (ankle) did not practice for the second day on Thursday. Furthermore, Sammy Watkins remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

    Cole Beasley, Buffalo Bills

    On Tuesday, Cole Beasley was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. He now must quarantine the next 10 days as he is unvaccinated.

    Gabriel Davis, Buffalo Bills

    ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter reported on Friday the Bills are placing Gabriel Davis on the COVID-19/reserve list and will miss Sunday’s game against New England. Schefter also reported Davis is unvaccinated. If Davis tested positive, he would then enter a 10-day quarantine before being eligible to return assuming he can then pass NFL testing protocols.

    DJ Moore, Carolina Panthers

    The Panthers’ official site reports DJ Moore (hamstring) did not participate at Thursday’s practice. Moore did manage to play last week despite the injury, but he could be a game-time decision for Week 16 against the Bucs.

    Jakeem Grant and Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears

    Jakeem Grant is currently in the NFL’s concussion protocol after suffering a head injury against the Vikings on Monday. Meanwhile, Allen Robinson remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list following his positive test last week.

    Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns

    The Browns’ official site reports Jarvis Landry was activated off the COVID-19/reserve list and will be active for Week 16.

    Trinity Benson, Kalif Raymond, and Josh Reynolds, Detroit Lions

    Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports Trinity Benson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Thursday. Meanwhile, Kalif Raymond (shoulder) was a limited participant for the second day in a row on Thursday. Josh Reynolds (thigh) also practiced on a limited basis for the second day in a row.

    Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers

    According to the Packers’ official site, Marquez Valdes-Scantling was placed on the COVID-19/reserve list on Tuesday.

    Brandin Cooks, Houston Texans

    Per the Texans’ official site, Brandin Cooks is now on the reserve/COVID-19 list as of Wednesday.

    Laviska Shenault Jr., Jacksonville Jaguars

    John Reid of the Florida Times-Union reports Laviska Shenault Jr. returned to practice Thursday after missing the day prior. The expectation is Shenault will play Sunday.

    Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs

    Tyreek Hill is one of seven Chiefs players placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of Week 16.

    Jaylen Guyton and Andre Roberts, Los Angeles Chargers

    Both Jaylen Guyton and Andre Roberts are on the reserve/COVID-19 list ahead of their Week 16 matchup with the Texans.

    Albert Wilson, Miami Dolphins

    Amie Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports that Albert Wilson (personal) didn’t participate in Thursday’s walkthrough practice. He also did not participate on Wednesday.

    Adam Thielen, Minnesota Vikings

    The Vikings’ official site reports Adam Thielen (ankle) practiced limitedly on Thursday. Thielen was a game-time decision last week and appears to have a chance to play in Week 16.

    Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne, and N’Keal Harry, New England Patriots

    Mike Reiss of ESPN reports Nelson Agholor has been ruled out of Week 16 due to a concussion.

    Per the Patriots’ injury report, N’Keal Harry (hip) practiced limitedly on Friday and is listed as questionable. Harry left their Week 15 game with what appeared to be a head injury but is being listed for a different injury.

    Tre’Quan Smith, New Orleans Saints

    Amie Just reports Tre’Quan Smith was listed as a limited participant on Thursday’s estimated practice report due to a shoulder injury.

    John Ross and Kadarius Toney, New York Giants

    Dan Salomone reports the Giants placed John Ross on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 15. Salomone also reports the Giants activated Kadarius Toney off the COVID list on Thursday. However, Toney is also dealing with an oblique injury that has kept him out since Week 11.

    Jamison Crowder, New York Jets

    Al Iannazzone of Newsday Sports reports Jamison Crowder (calf) did not participate for the second straight day Thursday.

    DK Metcalf and Freddie Swain, Seattle Seahawks

    Dugar of The Athletic reports DK Metcalf (foot) was a limited participant on Thursday. This has become the norm for Metcalf as the team managers his reps. Dugar also reports Freddie Swain (ankle) practiced on a limited basis for the second day in a row.

    Tampa Bay Buccaneers receivers

    Antonio Brown (ankle) was a limited participant for the second consecutive day Thursday. He appears ready to make his return after injuring his heel in Week 6 and serving a three-game suspension for misrepresenting his vaccination status.

    Meanwhile, the Buccaneers placed Jaelon Darden on the COVID list on Thursday.

    Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Buccaneers’ head coach Bruce Arian has ruled Mike Evans (hamstring) out for Sunday against the Panthers. It appeared the team was leaving the door open for Evans to pal after injuring his hamstring in the second quarter in Week 15, but after a week of DNPs, the team will hold him out and try again in Week 17.

    Greg Auman of The Athletic reported on Monday that head coach Bruce Arians stated Breshad Perriman could return from the COVID list prior to Sunday’s game against Carolina. However, as of Thursday, he remains on the list.

    Curtis Samuel, Washington Football Team

    Keim of ESPN reports Curtis Samuel (hamstring) practiced limitedly in Thursday’s walkthrough. Samuel reportedly suffered the hamstring injury in Week 14, which also forced him to miss Week 15. Furthermore, Samuel is nursing a groin injury that has plagued him since June.

    Albert Okwuegbunam, Denver Broncos

    Mike Klis of 9News Denver reports Albert Okwuegbunam (knee) practiced limitedly on Thursday after missing Wednesday’s practice.

    Travis Kelce and Blake Bell, Kansas City Chiefs

    Update 12/25/21: Kelce will be activated from the reserve/COVID list Saturday but has NOT cleared the protocols. The Chiefs are activating him in the hopes that he will clear the protocol Sunday.

    On Monday, per the Chiefs’ official site, Kansas City placed Travis Kelce on the reserve/COVID-19 list. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Kelce is vaccinated, which means Kelce tested positive for the virus.

    Blake Bell was activated off the COVID-19/reserve list on Friday, joining Noah Gray as the active tight ends with Kelce still in protocols.

    Donald Parham Jr., Los Angeles Chargers

    Per the Chargers’ official site, Donald Parham Jr. (concussion) did not participate for the second day in a row on Thursday.

    Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams

    After missing the Rams’ Week 14 game due to a false positive, the Rams placed Tyler Higbee on the reserve/COVID-19 list on December 17 due to a positive test.

    Darren Waller and Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders

    The Raiders’ official site reports Darren Waller (knee) did not participate for the second day in a row on Thursday. Waller has yet to play since injuring his knee in Week 12 against Dallas.

    Meanwhile, the Raiders also report that Foster Moreau (abdomen/thigh) practiced on a limited basis for the second day in a row on Thursday. He expects to play in Week 16.

    Juwan Johnson and Adam Trautman, New Orleans Saints

    On Wednesday, Kyle T. Mosley of Sports Illustrated reported that the Saints placed Juwan Johnson on the reserve/COVID-19 list after a positive test.

    Likewise, Adam Trautman is also on the COVID list, per Just of The New Orleans Times-Picayune. Nick Vannett is the only healthy TE on the Saints’ active roster.

    Kyle Rudolph, New York Giants

    Dan Salomone of the Giants’ official site reports Kyle Rudolph (ankle) practiced on a limited basis Thursday.

    Ryan Griffin, New York Jets

    Per the team’s site, the Jets placed Ryan Griffin (knee) on IR. As a result, Griffin will miss the remainder of the regular season, and Tyler Kroft will be the Jets’ No. 1 option at TE.

    Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers

    Teresa Varley of the Steelers’ official site reports Pat Freiermuth (concussion) did not participate for the second day in a row on Thursday. Freiermuth remains in the NFL’s concussion protocol following a hit he sustained in Week 15. It is the second documented concussion he has sustained in less than a month.
