Fantasy Football Cut List Week 10: Brian Robinson and Caleb Huntley Are on the Chopping Block

After an exciting Week 9 from several fantasy players, who are the ones on the fantasy football cut list that managers should remove from their Week 10 rosters?

Roster management is the single most crucial in-season task for fantasy football players. Just as important as adding the right players is knowing when players need to go. Which players find themselves on our Week 10 fantasy football cut list?

Note: All roster percentages are from Yahoo.

Who Should You Cut in Fantasy Football in Week 10?

Brian Robinson, RB, Washington Commanders (62% Rostered)

In five games this season, Brian Robinson has reached double-digit fantasy points just twice. Both times he did it, he just barely made it over the threshold with a touchdown.

The Commanders are not a good offense, averaging just 14.8 points per game since Week 3. Robinson is not an efficient runner, averaging just 3.2 yards per carry. Even with J.D. McKissic out, Robinson could only manage 5.8 fantasy points while playing 44% of the snaps.

You are never going to feel confident starting Robinson. He’s a pure touchdown-or-bust RB4. You can drop him.

Caleb Huntley, RB, Atlanta Falcons (25% Rostered)

Evidently, the vast majority of you are on the ball here. Caleb Huntley was at least serviceable as Tyler Allgeier’s backup.

Upon news of Cordarrelle Patterson’s return, I saw a very low 37.5-yard projection on Underdog Fantasy and hammered the higher there. It hit easily as Patterson immediately reassumed the lead-back role, sharing snaps with Allgeier and relegating Huntley to just a 21% snap share.

Huntley carried the ball seven times for 34 yards and did not see a target. You do not need to roster any team’s RB3, let alone the Falcons’ RB3.

Hunter Renfrow, WR, Las Vegas Raiders (51% Rostered)

Last season’s waiver wire darling is this year’s draft bust. Hunter Renfrow hasn’t seen more than four targets in a game since Week 2. He’s only hit double-digit fantasy points once all season.

Renfrow’s role remains the same — he plays behind Mack Hollins, but his 75% snap share as the slot receiver is about what we’ve come to expect from him. It’s just with Davante Adams there, Renfrow is not being targeted. At this point, there’s no reason to expect anything to change. You can cut him.

Isaiah McKenzie, WR, Buffalo Bills (39% Rostered)

Through nine weeks, Isaiah McKenzie has just one game with more than 37 receiving yards. He’s caught more than two passes in a game just twice all season.

Despite being the primary slot receiver at a 66% snap share, McKenzie is just not a key part of this offense. Unless he randomly finds the end zone, he’s not going to be a startable fantasy asset. His roster percentage is much lower than it was earlier in the season, but still not low enough. Drop him.

Tyler Conklin, TE, New York Jets (28% Rostered)

Tyler Conklin isn’t heavily rostered, but he warrants mentioning because of how heavily added he was following his two-touchdown Week 8 performance.

I never bought that as anything more than an anomaly. In Week 9, Conklin went right back into a timeshare with C.J. Uzomah. Conklin played 43 snaps to Uzomah’s 32. While Conklin ran 14 more routes, he saw one fewer target.

The Jets are on a bye in Week 10. You do not need to be holding Conklin. I’d like to see him rostered in fewer than 10% of leagues by Wednesday.
