Week 10 of the fantasy football season continued to bring us more ups and downs and head-scratching moments. Savvy fantasy managers will be able to take advantage of these ebbs and flows to improve their teams. Here are a handful of players entering Week 11 of the fantasy football season that presents an optimal opportunity to buy low or sell high on.
Who Are Some Fantasy Football Week 11 Trade Targets To Buy Low?
Since expectations vary across fantasy managers, there could be a window for you to acquire some of these players at a value. All of these candidates are in a position to exceed expectations for the rest of this season.
Travis Etienne, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars
Look, cool stuff ain’t cheap and cheap stuff ain’t cool. Although that’s the more PG version of the saying, I think it gets the point across when it comes to Travis Etienne.
After averaging 126.3 yards with four touchdowns in his previous three games, Etienne gained just 75 yards on the day on 11 carries with no touchdowns. He remained the clear lead back, but it was just a matter of efficiency more than anything.
As I alluded to, it will not be cheap to buy low on Etienne, but the Jaguars do have a bye next week. So if you have a manager that’s desperate to make the playoffs, you could try to swing a deal to acquire Etienne. Rachaad White, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
In Week 10, it was not Leonard Fournette who received the start, but Rachaad White, who took every snap on the opening drive. It turned into more of a rotation afterward, but the game’s story is White’s play as the lead back for the Buccaneers.
Fournette suffered a hip injury in the third quarter, and in his absence, White played on 80% of the snaps. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry against the Seahawks, rushing 22 times for 105 yards. What is surprising is White did not record a target. Only Fournette and Ke’Shawn Vaughan saw one target each out of the backfield.

Regardless of Fournette’s injury, White is a massive buy-low if he is rostered in your league. While he didn’t see any targets on Sunday, white was a high-level pass catcher at Arizona State, so that should not be seen as a concern.
Tampa gets a bye in Week 11, but that also means they will have an additional few days to plan around White as their top rusher. I would buy low on him before any news on Fournette’s injury.
Kadarius Toney, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
JuJu Smith-Schuster came into the week a top-12 receiver but left the game early due to taking a devastating hit to the head, putting next week’s availability up in the air.
The Chiefs rotated several wide receivers, including Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Justin Watson, and Skyy Moore, to fill the vacancy. But it was Kadarius Toney who had the best day of them all.
Toney caught four of five targets for 75 yards and a touchdown while also rushing for 33 yards to finish the day with 19.0 PPR points. Valdes-Scantling also scored on the day and had 60 yards of his own as he took over the primary slot receiver role following Smith-Schuster’s departure.
If this had happened five weeks ago, everyone would be crowning Moore as the next breakout. But with Toney on the roster, he sees the most significant jump in value. As he’s likely rostered in the majority of leagues after the waiver wire scramble of a few weeks ago, buy-low on Toney now as he could become Patrick Mahomes No. 1 option should Smith-Schuster miss time.
Who Are Some Fantasy Football Week 11 Candidates To Sell High?
Actual value vs. perceived value is also something fantasy managers need to have their pulse on. It cannot only tell you when to buy low but also when to sell high before the floor crashes out. Here are three players that could be worth selling before their value drops.
Najee Harris, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Perhaps it was the time off, but Najee Harris had the best day of his season thus far after spending the previous week and a half hearing how Jaylen Warren would eat into his opportunities.
Harris averaged just under 5.0 yards per carry, tallying 90 yards on the ground on 20 rushes. Unfortunately, Harris only scored 9.9 PPR points as he went without a reception on the afternoon. While this is a welcome sight from Harris, he doesn’t even crack the top 20 amongst running backs for the week.

It’s just a continuation of poor trends, as Harris has yet to score more than 15 PPR points or more than 14 PPR since Week 2. He has three touchdowns on the year, but the more decisive running and efficiency could be seen as a sign of things to come for someone looking to get on the former first-round pick.
If someone wants to, perfect, let them have Harris. If anything, fantasy managers have been looking for a reason to offload the second-year running back, and after his season-high for yardage, now could be the time to sell high on Harris for fantasy football.
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
First of all, if you were still rostering Christian Watson, you’re way better at commitment than I am. And apparently, it worked out for you as Christian Watson had his welcome to the NFL moment on Sunday.
With the Packers down 14 heading into the fourth quarter, Watson went ballistic. After scoring a 58-yard touchdown in the second quarter, Watson found paydirt two more times in the fourth quarter, finishing the day with four receptions on eight targets for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Watson’s 32.7 PPR points are the third-best amongst wide receivers in Week 11.
Sunday highlighted the immense ceiling many saw in Christian Watson coming out of North Dakota State. But let’s be honest with ourselves. It’s just as likely Watson never has another three-touchdown game in his career as these don’t often happen, even amongst the elite.
With the Packers’ offense hopefully turning a corner, Watson could be traded under the pretense that he could easily become the No. 1 option for Aaron Rodgers in the most crucial part of their season. And I think that very likely could happen, but I don’t see enough consistency or days like this to make him worth starting. After a year of virtually no production, Watson’s big day is your time to cash in and sell high ahead of Week 11.
