    Published on

It's time to set our fantasy football waiver wire claims going into Week 15 -- who are the top options to spend your FAAB on this week?

We are now officially into Week 15 of the 2023 NFL season, which means, fantasy playoffs are here! Who should you be looking to spend significant FAAB on this week, and who should you be looking to let others in your league go after? Let’s break down the top waiver wire options and who to add to help improve your fantasy football roster.

Week 15 Fantasy FAAB Picks and Advice

    Quarterbacks

Zach Wilson, New York Jets: Just like we all expected on Sunday, Wilson went out and threw for 301 yards and two touchdowns in a surprising 30-6 victory against the Houston Texans. The Jets have a challenge in Week 15 at the Miami Dolphins, but they have a home game against a Washington Commanders team that has the worst pass defense in the NFL this year (265.8 yards).

    FAAB Recommendation: 3%

Joe Flacco, Cleveland Browns: The Browns played the Jacksonville Jaguars in a huge game on Sunday, and the 38-year-old Flacco delivered in a big way. He finished with 311 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the win against Jacksonville. The Browns have another home game in Week 15 against the Chicago Bears, who rank 25th against the pass (239.5 yards).

    FAAB Recommendation: 2%

The Best of the Rest: Baker Mayfield (TB), Jake Browning (CIN). 1% or below FAAB recommendation.

    Running Backs

Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals: This week’s top waiver wire pickup at the running back position is the Bengals’ new RB2. The rookie from Illinois showed off his game-breaking speed on Sunday. Last week, he had 61 rushing yards and followed that up with 105 total yards and one touchdown. He reached a top speed of just over 22 MPH on that score, which was the second fastest in the league this year.

While still reliant on splash plays, Brown is seeing enough work to have RB3 value alongside Joe Mixon. Plus, he has a clear RB1 upside if Mixon were to go down. He is worth everything you have.

    FAAB Recommendation: 8%

Ezekiel Elliot, New England PatriotsWith starting running back Rhamondre Stevenson out in Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Elliott got the ball 29 times. He rushed the ball 22 times for 68 yards but was also able to catch seven passes for 72 yards and one touchdown.

The Patriots will be going up against a tough defense in the Kansas City Chiefs next week, but the Chiefs are easier to run the ball against than throw against. Look for New England to give Elliott the ball early and often again if Stevenson is out.

    FAAB Recommendation: 8%

The Best of the Rest: Tyjae Spears (TEN), Samaje Perine (DEN), Jeff Wilson Jr. (MIA), Keaton Mitchell (BAL). All below 5% FAAB recommendation.

    Wide Receivers

Jayden Reed, Green Bay Packers: The Packers are playing some very good football now, and Reed continues to be the player that Jordan Love is looking for. With wide receiver Christian Watson now out with a hamstring issue, there is even more opportunity for Reed to get the ball thrown to him. He has WR3/Flex potential as the Packers continue their march to the playoffs.

    FAAB Recommendation: 8%

Odell Beckham Jr., Baltimore Ravens: Beckham has been on a solid run recently for the Ravens, and once again he showed it on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams. He’s posted double-digit fantasy points in four of his last five games. In the thrilling overtime win against the Rams, he had four catches for 97 yards and one touchdown. He was thrown the ball 10 times.

The Ravens have a couple of big games coming up against the Jaguars and San Francisco 49ers. Those are two good teams, but they have both allowed receivers to have big games against them.

    FAAB Recommendation: 6%

The Best of the Rest: David Bell (CLE), Noah Brown (HOU), Jalin Hyatt (NYG), A.T. Perry (NO), Khalil Shakir (BUF): All below 5% FAAB recommendation.

    Tight Ends

Tucker Kraft, Green Bay Packers: Now, Kraft hasn’t put up a ton of numbers since he got into the lineup. Regardless, he’s played over 90% of the snaps since taking over as the Packers’ TE1 following Luke Musgrave’s injury.

In those two games, he has had 9.5 and 6.7 fantasy points. Those aren’t earth-shattering numbers, but the tight end position this year has been brutal. If he is going to continue to be on the field that much, and now without Watson in their lineup, there could be more opportunities for Kraft in the next couple of weeks.

    FAAB Recommendation: 5%

The Best of the Rest: Cade Otton (TB), Tyler Higbee (LAR), Juwan Johnson (NO), Tyler Conklin (NYJ). All below 5% FAAB recommendation.
