We are now officially into Week 10 of the 2023 NFL season! Who should you be looking to spend significant FAAB on this week, and who should you be looking to let others in your league go after? Let’s break down the top waiver wire options this week and who to add to help better your fantasy football roster.
Week 10 Fantasy FAAB Picks and Advice
Quarterbacks
Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: C.J. Stroud stole the show in Week 9, but don’t lose sight of the fact that Mayfield had a solid performance himself in that game, too. He now draws a matchup against Tennessee, which is certainly a favorable one, and he’s on the streaming radar.
FAAB recommendation: 3%
Joshua Dobbs, Minnesota Vikings: This was a jaw-dropping performance from Dobbs after being thrown into action after just a few days with the team. Now that he has some time to learn his teammates’ names, he can be considered a solid streamer in Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints.
FAAB recommendation: 2%
Taylor Heinicke, Atlanta Falcons: It wasn’t a dominant first start for Heinicke in Atlanta, but he did enough to finish as a top-15 option in Week 9. Now, he should get Drake London back in Week 10 and he has a fine matchup against the Arizona Cardinals’ defense.
FAAB recommendation: 2%
The Best of the Rest: Will Levis (TEN), Russell Wilson (DEN), Gardner Minshew (IND), Bryce Young (CAR), Mac Jones (NE): 1% FAAB bid recommendation.
Running Backs
Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks: We’re slowly — but surely — starting to see Charbonnet become more involved in this offense as the season progresses.

While he doesn’t provide immediate value, he’s worth rostering due to the potential that he offers down the line.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens: There’s no denying the explosiveness and big-play ability of Mitchell. Attached to one of the league’s best offenses right now, there’s an opportunity for Mitchell to start to see consistent opportunity week in and week out.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans: It feels like we’re right on the verge of a Spears breakout performance here soon and I want to make sure that I’m ahead of the curve on that, if I can. Add Spears now and stash him on your bench before that seemingly inevitable game occurs.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Leonard Fournette, Buffalo Bills: Is it likely that Fournette sees 10+ touches in a game anytime soon? Probably not. However, the potential payoff makes it worth adding him now and stashing him on your bench.
FAAB recommendation: 3%
The Best of the Rest: Antonio Gibson (WAS), Justice Hill (BAL), Elijah Mitchell (SF), Roschon Johnson (CHI): All below 5% FAAB recommendation.
Wide Receivers
Tank Dell, Houston Texans: Stroud is playing like a top-tier NFL QB — not just rookie — right now and Dell’s one of the biggest beneficiaries. He’ll have some target competition with Robert Woods likely returning to the lineup here soon, but the potential upside is too much to let sit out there on your waiver wire.
FAAB recommendation: 7%
Khalil Shakir, Buffalo Bills: It’s now been two back-to-back weeks of Shakir being a part of this Buffalo offense and he’s delivering. 149 combined receiving yards over the past two games for the second-year WR — and that involvement doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon. He’s worth adding in deeper leagues.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Demario Douglas, New England Patriots: It feels vile to target a member of the Patriots’ offense, but it’s hard to argue with 20 targets for Douglas over the past three weeks. While he presents little upside due to the state of this offense, he’s at least presenting a solid floor that has value in deeper formats.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
The Best of the Rest: Quentin Johnston (LAC), Zay Jones (JAX), Jayden Reed (GB), and Curtis Samuel (WAS): All below 5% FAAB recommendation.
Tight Ends
Jonnu Smith, Atlanta Falcons: There’s space to have a greater conversation about who should be seeing the majority of the targets at the TE position in Atlanta this season, but Smith is producing with this opportunity. His production is inconsistent, but the same could be said for pretty much every TE in the NFL right now. He’s a fine streaming option in Week 10 against the Cardinals.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Hunter Henry, New England Patriots: Henry’s flirted with the TE1 range of fantasy football rankings already this season, but the Patriots offense has been too hit-or-miss to rely on week in and week out. After seeing seven targets in Week 9, that could be changing for Henry and he’s a fine plug-and-play option against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
Gerald Everett, Los Angeles Chargers: We still have yet to see the final results of Monday Night Football at the time of writing. But Everett’s been involved enough in this offense in recent weeks to be viewed as a low-end streaming option this next week against the Detroit Lions in a high-scoring affair.
FAAB recommendation: 5%
The Best of the Rest: Luke Musgrave (GB) and Cade Otton (TB): All below 5% FAAB recommendation.
