Fantasy DST Streamers and Rankings Week 9: Targets Include the Atlanta Falcons, Las Vegas Raiders, and Others

We are back to byes in Week 9, so it is even more important to carefully select your starting defense. Which defense should you stream this week?

With all of the injuries in Week 8, especially to QBs, there will be some great matchups for defenses in Week 9. Which DST should you stream in Week 9 of the fantasy football season?

Top DST Streamers for Week 9

Atlanta Falcons, vs. MIN – 33% rostered

QB Kirk Cousins had to be carted off from Sunday’s game, and it has been reported that he may have an Achilles injury. Rookie Jaren Hall replaced him under center and did not look NFL-ready. Whether it is Hall, Nick Mullens, or someone else they trade for before the fast-approaching deadline, I would like to start the DST that is facing that QB, and in Week 9, that is the Atlanta Falcons.

Los Angeles Chargers (at NYJ) – 26% rostered

As much as we are all rooting for Zach Wilson to be successful this year, fantasy managers know the difference between fact and fiction. Wilson endured four sacks on Sunday by the Giants, and I feel comfortable starting the Chargers DST against him and the Jets.

Las Vegas Raiders (vs. NYG) – 13% rostered

We are one QB away from me being under center for the New York Giants. After losing Daniel Jones for a couple of games, Tyrod Taylor looked to be righting the ship slightly. However, he went down to a rib injury on Sunday, and third-string QB Tommy DeVito took over. I am targeting any defense playing against a QB who accumulated negative passing yards this week. Maxx Crosby should eat in Week 9.

Indianapolis Colts (at CAR) – 8% rostered

Even though Carolina got their first win on Sunday, Bryce Young was sacked six times. Indianapolis DST struggled against New Orleans this week, but the matchup against the struggling Panthers is something that should be exploited.
