Week 5 Byes: Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Denver Broncos (vs. NYJ) – 40% rostered
Death, taxes, and starting the defense playing Zach Wilson and the New York Jets. There is not much to say here — even though the Denver Broncos defense has yet to live up to their hype from last season, playing against Wilson and the stumbling Jets should help them course correct.
The Broncos did well against the Chicago Bears in Week 4, with four sacks, one interception, and a fumble recovery.
Washington Commanders (vs. CHI) – 25% rostered
The Washington Commanders have had two subpar defensive outings in the last two weeks, but to be fair, they were playing the Buffalo Bills and Philadelphia Eagles. Weel, in Week 5, they play Chicago.

Justin Fields and the Bears looked rejuvenated against the Broncos, but the Commanders are better on defense and should present more of a challenge. After Chicago, the Commanders have a decent schedule for the defense — the Atlanta Falcons and New York Giants are on the docket, so you might be able to play them for multiple weeks.
Green Bay Packers (vs. LV) – 26% rostered
Mix rookie QB in Aiden O’Connell (or a still possibly banged up Jimmy Garoppolo) with the possibility of a banged-up Davante Adams after his injury on Sunday, and you want the DST that is playing the stumbling Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
The Green Bay Packers defense has been average so far this season, except in week one when they played the Chicago Bears. A prime example of playing the matchup, the Packers are a solid streaming option this week.
Detroit Lions (vs. CAR) – 10% rostered
Aidan Hutchinson has stepped up as the defensive leader of the Detroit Lions, and they have quietly clocked two great back-to-back defensive performances against Atlanta and Green Bay. They scored the second most defensive fantasy points in Week 3. Targeting them at home against Bryce Young seems like a good choice.
