‘Tom Cruise and Macaulay Culkin?’ – Fans Have Wild Reactions to Two NFL QBs’ Record Against Patrick Mahomes

Fans reacted on X when they saw a post that pointed out that Patrick Mahomes had only ever lost to two NFL QBs in the playoffs.

Quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills on Sunday (Jan. 26) in the AFC Championship Game to advance to the Super Bowl.

With the win, the Chiefs have a chance to win three Super Bowls in a row for the first time in NFL history. Mahomes has dominated throughout his career, appearing in five Super Bowls now and only losing to two QBs in the playoffs.

Fans React to Patrick Mahomes’ Record Against NFL QBs in the Playoffs

Mahomes has an incredible playoff record. He has a chance to win his fourth Super Bowl this season in only his seventh season as a starter. It is his fifth time reaching the Super Bowl, and he has made the AFC Championship Game in every season. Only two quarterbacks have defeated him in the playoffs.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots beat Mahomes in the AFC Championship Game in 2018. Then, in 2020, Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated Mahomes in the Super Bowl. The only other time the Chiefs lost a playoff game in the Mahomes era was in 2021 when they lost in the AFC Championship Game to Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals.

An interesting photo of Tom Brady and Joe Burrow together with the report about Mahomes’ record circulated on social media. Fans reacted to the photo and Mahomes’ impressive playoff record on X.

“Tom Cruise and MaCauley Culkin?” one fan wrote.

“Looks like a fire a** boy band on their reunion tour,” one fan commented.

“Burrow didn’t beat mahomes, mahomes beat mahomes,” one fan added.

“My single uncle arriving to Xmas dinner with his roomie,” one fan added.

Mahomes will have a chance to add to his impressive playoff résumé in two weeks when his Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 59, a rematch from two seasons ago.

This time, Jalen Hurts will try to be the QB that comes out on top. If he is successful, he will become only the third QB to defeat Mahomes in the playoffs.
