Rapper Ice Spice and New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner have sparked rumors of a romance. The two have been seen together a few times recently, which has led NFL fans to believe they might be dating.
NFL Fans React to Sauce Gardner and Ice Spice Dating Rumor
The rumor mill started churning when a video posted on X showed content creator Javier Romero dancing in front of Ice Spice on an escalator to her own song. Gardner was standing behind her. Fans saw the dots connect and speculated the two might be more than just friends.

People on X had fun coming up with puns using their names as Romero kicked the rumors into high gear.
“Sauce and Spice,” a fan said.
“Spicey Sauce Collab!” another fan wrote.
“spice & sauce – Sriracha brand deal incoming,” a fan commented.
Insider Dov Kleiman compared the two to the celebrity couple of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift, regarding which a fan said:
“They have no competition it’s to each their own. Chill”
“Ice and sauce? It doesn’t sound tasty. 😂” A fan wrote.
“Gorgeous,” a fan chimed in.
This isn’t the first time Ice Spice has been connected to football. She was at the Super Bowl on Feb. 9 alongside Swift, who came to support Kelce, who plays for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Ice Spice also previously hinted in an interview that she is indeed seeing someone but didn’t give additional details. Rumor has it that it’s Gardner, given that there have been other sightings of them together, too.
Ice Spice attended a Jets game in September 2024, and they were both at a club in New York City for a dating show premiere on Feb. 12.
A few days later, both Gardner and Ice Spice posted pictures of their meals at a restaurant. The dishes they were eating looked nearly one and the same, adding weight to the idea that they might have shared a meal.

As of now, neither Ice Spice nor Gardner has confirmed the rumors about them dating. While their circles overlap sometimes, this does not affirm whether they are romantically involved.
Both of them are currently living in New York, with Ice Spice being a native and Gardner playing for the Jets after he was selected as the fourth overall player in the 2022 NFL Draft.
