Fans Amused at Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter Playing Ball

On Dec. 21, before traveling to San Antonio for their bowl game against BYU, the two were honored on Colorado’s basketball court. They got their own pregame introductions and were given customized jerseys with their names and numbers.

Before the game commenced, both showed off their basketball moves on the hard court. In one video, Sanders lobbed the ball off the backboard to Hunter for an alley-oop.

To this, many fans flooded the comment section of the clip on X.

“Changing sport cuz football is too easy,” a fan jested.

As Hunter and Sanders enjoy their final moments as teammates, a time will soon come when they may face each other as rivals in the NFL. According to PFN’s latest mock, Sanders is going to Las Vegas to help the Raiders with their gap in the quarterback position and his strong arm and mental/physical toughness. He accumulated 3,926 yards and 35 touchdowns with eight interceptions this season.

Meanwhile, in the mock, Hunter goes third overall to the New England Patriots, who are going through a rough patch this season. With voids on a few positions on both offense and defense, the dual-threat Heisman winner could answer with his ”ball skills needed to get open and make big plays.” He recorded 1,152 yards on 92 receptions and 14 touchdowns on offense, while making 31 tackles and 11 passes defended on defense.
