Denver Nuggets center DeAndre Jordan has given a vote of confidence to Colorado Buffaloes star dual-threat player Travis Hunter and his chances of winning this year’s Heisman Trophy. While at practice this week, Jordan was seen wearing the popular Hunter Heisman shirt.
Both playing out of the state of Colorado, the Nuggets and Buffaloes are enjoying success in their respective seasons. The Buffaloes reside in fourth place in the Big 12 conference and hold a 9-3 overall record. Meanwhile, the Nuggets are currently in eighth position in the NBA’s Western Conference with an 11-8 record so far.
What Did the Social Media Post Show?
In a joint social media photo release to Instagram by the Nuggets and Buffaloes, the star centre Jordan can be seen wearing Hunter’s released Heisman shirt. The aforementioned shirt features a graphic designed image of Hunter running with a football alongside the caption “HE12MAN” in reference to his number 12 jersey number.

The actual post itself contains the same phrase “HE12MAN” alongside the photo of Jordan.
In response, social media users and fans of the respective clubs have voiced their opinion about the positive synergy between the Colorado-based professional basketball franchise and the college football program.

Will Travis Hunter Win the Heisman Trophy This Year?
At the time of this writing, Hunter is the favorite to win this year’s Heisman Trophy. Awarded annually to the top college football player that season, the honor is widely regarded as one of, if not the most prestigious accolade in CFB.
Hunter has had one of the most noteworthy campaigns in recent memory, due in large part to his ability to play elite football on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. His dynamic speed and great hands on offense, coupled with his amazing football IQ and defensive anticipation, make Hunter one of the most versatile and exciting prospects of all time.
